'We really liked this cool place – super clean, had everything for cooking. The bed was like a dream. The host gave us towels, chairs, umbrella, and a cooler for the beach – super handy. Instead of cooking, we walked 10 minutes along the beach to The Beach Bar and Restaurant for the best meals in Costa Rica. 'Great walkable location near beach suitable for several families. We had street parking but the overnight security made us feel very safe. Any immediate questions/issues were addressed quickly. 'We booked this home because we were 15 people and needed a big enough house. We liked that every bedroom had its own bathroom and that there's a pool and large yard for the kids to play. 'Pros: The house is incredibly clean, beautiful furniture and lovely space for a family. The pool is very nice and usually kept clean (we had to clean it ourselves several times when the pool attendant didn't show up). 'Very nice place. Just in the middle of nowhere. Cabs to and from town have to deal with a steep, dirt, bumpy, rock-filled road (one night we almost couldn't find it). And because of its isolation, not even able to walk around outside the 10-room facility. But the room, pool, staff, and included breakfasts were exceptional.'
