The hotel smelled lovely upon arrival—spa-like. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and very pleasant. Although it is a conference center, it didn't feel overwhelming and large. Our room was cozy, although a bit of a hike from the stairs/elevator. We had a nice view, and I enjoyed the balcony. We did not eat at the hotel but had a drink at the bar—Mark-Anthony, the young bartender, was excellent. He was thoughtful and made a great mojito. If you like larger hotels, this is a lovely place to stay - not right in the action but walking distance to everything.

Hotel is located in convenient area with many restaurant options. Parking garage is a valuable asset. Breakfast options always the same and not the best quality. Coffee options also limited, no latte or cappuccino available. Beds were very comfortable as well as room overall. Staff not as attentive as other hotels we have stayed at. Very limited gluten free options - only bread which needs to be requested and one time never received. Main bar doesn't open until 5 pm so drinks only available at outdoor pool which is not convenient. Also, no form of entertainment. It was a very busy time with big feast being held and not to have main bar open during the day didn't seem to make any sense. Although we didn't eat dinner at restaurant, we did hear others complain about the quality. Overall, a good value and well situated for exploring downtown. With a few adjustments, could be great.

Very well situated and easy to access from airport and elsewhere. The Garden is simply amazing with breathtaking bird parades in the morning and evening. The food is of high quality especially the jams made by the chef. The gym is large and outdoor pool superb. A little bit more cleaning of windows and room bathtub would make it simply exceptional.

Facts during our stay: - AC made very loud banging sound in our room and we had to move late in the evening to another room - yoga class which was publicized in the elevator was cancelled without notice. I arranged my plans around this and ended up wasting my morning due to this. - breakfast spread was quite nice and the dining room staffs were friendly and helpful.

Hotel rooms are worth the money but the hotel itself is a tourist trap, the restaurant is overpriced and the food quality isn’t up to snuff. They make you buy swimming caps to use the pool. 9 euros a day for parking. The bike rentals are very expensive. Even the soap in the shower seemed watered down. The sauna was not hot enough, warm at best, the hot tub literally had cold water coming out of the jets, and the Turkish bath was so stinky.

It's a lovely hotel in a good location. We booked the executive double room and it was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The hotel was very clean and we loved the outdoor pool. Staff were helpful and for the most part very friendly. We got excellent service from Miguel at the bar! The only complaint would be the 5 EU per person charge for room service. I don't know any other hotel that does this. We only used it a couple of times for breakfast which arrived stone cold and inedible. Nobody wants to eat cold bacon and eggs. I did complain to the front desk but no effort was made to compensate or refund the charges.

Excellent surprise for a property we picked at random for a layover in Sao Miguel/PDL. We fit in a tour and still got to enjoy brunch at Koi. Would highly recommend for longer stays, very reasonable price for suites and rooms while offering high-end amenities and fantastic service!

The staff was friendly and helpful, our bartender Miguel was amazing. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel property was beautiful, and obly a short walk to city center. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Positief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten en comfort kamer
Negatief: Personeel en service
Nice hotel but need to replace some staffmembers
Nice rooms and good cleaningservice. However some persons in the reception and one in the bar was really unpleasent and angry to talk to, multiple times.
