'Friendly small hotel in old park of town with nice & reasonably priced rooms. Cosy bar area and not too far from beach, with uphill return. Good breakfast. Will use again'

'So, check-in was ok. Was asked for a name, no ID check (I'm not sure what I think of that) and no deposit needed/requested (which I'm happy about) and the lady at the desk went through all of the general stuff you'd expect them to. So, the room. It is modern looking, clean and better than the prior hotel we stayed in when we went to London last year. However, there are issues with this one, both safety and experience issues just like the other one but here they are: - Damp (water) patches around...

In walking distance of all shops, restaurants, and all town beaches. Lanhern pub and food brilliant a short walk away as is the Maharajah superb Indian restaurant. Trenance gardens also a short walk. 'What a fabulous place to stay, not only was the apartment stunning and had everything you need, but great location for things to do in the area and Lynn was just a delight and so friendly. Was a perfect break away celebrating my partners 50th.'

'We had an amazing time in Padstow and this is a great hotel. The walk into Padstow is more of a light hike, so take appropriate footwear/clothing but it's worth doing - especially if you live in the city and fancy some fresh air and wide open space! The breakfast is incredible (fresh, warm muffins every breakfast, amazing), staff are lovely and it was great value for money. Our only tiny gripe is that we booked a twin and were given a double; the bed was massive so it wasn't an issue for us, but...

'Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
