'The hotel is clean and modern. The room is perfect except foe the noisy fridge. However the service is not as expected. Paid for breakfast and at 830 the first day they were already cleaning up and the assortment was limited. Second dat there was not even breakfast. I am still waiting for the promised breakfast. '

'The location was nice and quiet, considering it's in a busier area. The riverview was nice and the trail next to it was lovely. The room itself was disappointing because it really wasn't very clean. For the price and the type of hotel it is, I really expected more cleanliness. The windows were filthy and I don't mean a little dirt, I mean so filthy they obstructed the views. 'Rooms and property look recently renovated. Our suite was "huge" and had everything. We really liked the complimentary beverage and snack in the evening plus buffet breakfast. Pool was great too!'

'The stay was really nice, our room was really hot and the AC didn’t work, but we made it work as we were there for basketball tournament so all the rooms were full '

'The room here was very nice and clean and we liked being able to sit in the beautiful library section of the lobby while doing some computer work during our stay. The parking garage was also conveniently located and there were lots of options for cute coffee shops nearby. '

'We've been to the area many times and never have stayed at the Hyatt Place. In the past it was overpriced and we've stayed at the Residence Inn down the street many times. This time as we checked ahead of time the Hyatt was cheaper. We were pleasantly surprised about everything at this hotel and will stay here again and maybe even if its price is close to the Residence Inn. Very nice place all around. The breakfast bar was one of the best we've had!!!'

'A comfortable stay downtown Portland. The room was not too big, but comfortable. The only thing was parking. Not a lot in the area, valet parking was expensive, $48/day.'
