The property is under some renovations but it does not affect your stay. Absolutely beautiful views from our room. We took a water taxi from Portsmouth to Norfolk. Many restaurant options that are walkable. Room was clean and just great for our two-day stay. Would absolutely stay again. Felt safe and the hotel staff was friendly, helpful and very approachable!

Wow, we were so disappointed—the hotel was under construction and we understood that, however the stairs from the parking garage were dirty and some of the lights were out. The staff was nice, the room was nice, until you looked a little closer and the bathroom fixtures were old, and the nightstand electrical outlets didn’t work. Not sure if it was because it was a holiday weekend, but we felt like we amongst street walkers and pimps. We won’t be back.

My stay was great . Only issue I had was I had to wait an hour for my room but I was upgraded so my overall stay was a 9/10. Definitely will stay again.

Property was nothing special. We booked there for the convenience of the ferry going to a festival we were attending. The ferry was closed for reasons unknown which made our stay rather cumbersome having to walk a mile or so to the venue . Other than that just an average stay.

The property is under construction, no use of pool, gym is small for a large hotel, main area was dirty from construction. Hotel services were very limited. Surrounding town is still struggling with restaurant servers and crime issues. Was followed on my run by two guys in a car then they circled back to drive along me again- do not stay here alone as a female or go out alone ever. Stay on other side of water in Norfolk

The staff was very friendly made me and my son feel welcome. When I first arrived an got to my room I didn't know how the shower work the front desk sent Terry the engineer and he showed me how it work. They were really nice and we enjoyed our stay

The desk clerk at check in was very nonchalant, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. The room was average and hot even though we put the thermostat on 65. I didn’t realize they just opened the hotel in January I wish I would’ve known that.

Overnight Family Stay with Children
Service was amazing. We were accommodated due to a light fixture not being in place. The restaurant was Chef’s Kiss. Loved the fish and chips for dinner and the breakfast buffet the following morning. Our waitress April displayed excellent service. The front door staffed noticed us on the elevator leaving out and provided us with a cart for our bags and offered to help us to our vehicle. The only downside was the pool area. The heated pool was not heated. The pool area was very different compared to other areas of the hotel. I’m hoping that it will be included into the new update that has started. Overall we would return.

Beautiful hotel. Anthony at the bar made me feel welcome and provided a great experience. I had the she crab soup and it was wonderful. Outside of getting woken up from screaming and yelling from another couple staying at the hotel and the extremely long time for security to finally come and take care of the situation, no housekeeping, only one outlet working in the room, having to unplug the tv to turn it fully off and the terribly expensive breakfast, the front desk staff was awesome, the view from the room was amazing and the rooms were comfortably clean.
