Price-quality good hotel with remarks
Considering the price of the hotel, the hotel was OK. However, the room we stayed in had mold on the walls next to the window (room 348). The airconditioning was good and easy to use. There was no mini-bar. The window also had rol-down shutters so it is completely dark when you want to sleep, this was very positive. The breakfast was very Italian, only sweet things, no yoghurt, no fruit, no cheese or other non-sweet things, not even bread. I only ate breakfast twice, since it was so monotonous and sweet. The name of the hotel is Tennis hotel, however, the tennis courts are no property of the hotel. You have to pay 10EUR per hour to play tennis, which we didn't know. The pool next to the hotel also has some rules you have to follow. You need to wear a swimming cap on your head which I can understand, but the lifeguards didn't wear it themselves. They swam before the pool opened without it. Why should we wear it then? The pool is only open from 10.00 till 17.00. The older lifeguard is not sympathetical at all, he shouts all the time and is not polite. The younger lifeguard speaks English/French and is nicer. The hotel is located in a very dirty neighbourhood and a car is an absolute must when you stay there. The hotel staff at the reception is very friendly and will help you anyway they can.
