The hotel is close to a tram stop that will take you to Prague castle and near Charles Bridge in about 10 minutes. You can buy 30 minute tram tickets at the hotel. Also close to the hotel are different restaurants and a Billa supermarket. The only downside is the 80 steps stairs you have to traverse to get to and from the hotel.
I've scored 'Room Comfort' only OK, because my room (on the 3rd floor) didn't have regular curtains. As a result, every morning around 5:30 the room got flooded with daylight.
The available elevator is very small, but was in perfect working order.
Cold beverages are available at the reception and are very reasonably priced.
The rooms get cleaned daily and fresh towels are also provided.
If you're staying for more than a few days, public transport tickets for 24 and 72 hours can be bought, but not at the hotel! Make sure you get them at the airport, or order them from any airport transfer service.
Not all reception staff speaks English equally well, but they will do their best.
The breakfast bar, open every morning from 7:00 - 9:30, is excellent. If anything runs out, it is quickly restocked.
