Super nice hotel with the friendliest staff. The breakfast was very good, the room was clean and lovely. Only the hot water for the shower in the room took very long.

Great hotel
Prachtig hotel. Enkel hadden wij 3 nachten betaald inclusief ontbijt. Maar de dag dat wij vertrokken om 6.30 uur was er buiten 1 crosant om geen etenswaren bij vertrek. Welke wel betaald zijn door ons.

Wat een fantastische beleving om hier te overnachten. Ik had een kleine kamer, maar ik had alle voorzieningen. Echt een tophotel waar ik graag weer terug kom.

Mooi hotel met prima faciliteiten.
Het hotel is erg mooi en het zwembad met sauna zijn heerlijk om te ontspannen. De koffie en thee faciliteiten en gratis water werden erg gewaardeerd. Het hotel ligt vlakbij het station en biedt een eigen taxi service. Bij receptie en ontbijtbuffet was mondkapje verplicht.

Carlo IV - Beste aanrader voor verblijf te Praag
Deze hotel is een echte aanrader. Het is gelegen vlakbij het centrum en makkelijk bereikbaar vanuit de luchthaven (eerst met de bus naar de metro - Green line nemen en Muzeum-halte afstappen). De wellness-ruimte is groot genoeg. Er is een stoppbad, sauna, zwembad en voor zij die willen ook een massagesalon aanwezig. Tegenover de wellness vindt men de fitness. Hier staan 2 fietstoestellen, 2 loopbanden en verschillende halters en krachtmachines. De wellness en fitness zijn zeer welkom na een lange dag stappen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en stipt. Dit maakt het verblijf zeker aangenaam. Ik ben in verschillende hotels verbleven, maar Carlo IV staat vanaf nu bovenaan de lijst. Ik aarzel er dan ook niet om, om hier opnieuw te verblijven bij mijn volgend bezoek aan Praag.

Staff is new. Coudl not generate a copy of the Invoice because apparently this can only be done by Expedie. I booked for a customer through Expedia so now have to try to get two specified invoices via Expedia. Staff is all new. They are not coordinated. They are all trying their best this is good. They are all trying from the doorman and bellboy to the staff and manager.However they give conflicting information. Bedroom is good and clean. Bathroom also clean but a bit dated. Funny smell throughout the entire hotel. Quite a dark hotel. Very good breakfast. Good location.

Comfortable en geweldig hotel op een goede locatie
Het hotel is erg comfortabel en ziet er prachtig uit. De spa is gratis toegankelijk voor de gasten en het is heerlijk om daar na een drukke dag even bij te komen. Ook het ontbijt is heerlijk. Echt een aanrader.

I think the hotel is amazing as a whole. Very beautiful inside and out with very clean facilities with very helpful staff. The only thing we noticed that there were not many options for a full english breakfast which left us feeling a little underwhelmed.

The hotel is very beautiful and unique. Pros: breakfast buffet is best we've ever had, really unique. Runs €25 per person (or €20 if you prepay each morning for your entire stay). We had a suite and it was very large and comfortable. Cons: if you are placed on the street side, the trams run about about every 3-5 minutes, day and night and it made it hard for me to get good sleep (did not bother my wife at all, though). We moved from a 2nd floor room to a 5th floor room and though I could still hear the trams, it was tolerable up higher. One of the a/c units in our room was not doing a great job and it was hot/uncomfortable on a few nights. There are about 30 steps from the street to the lobby that you have to carry your bag up. Doormen just watched us carry them up and then it wasn't until we were inside that a bellhop very eagerly wanted to help us **wheel** our bags the rest of the way to the elevator and our room. This did not impress me. Maybe they assumed since we are young(ish) and fit(ish) that we'd be fine carrying our bags, which we were. But I found it egregious that the bellhop then very assertively took/moved our bags once the hard part was over.

We found the staff friendly and helpful with advice about the city. The room was comfortable and we appreciated little touches like an illuminated magnifying mirror in the bathroom and sensor lights inside the wardrobe. The extensive breakfast choices were a delight. Loved the pool and spa which we used everyday, it felt "luxury".

Man hat nur eine Gelegenheit einen ersten Eindruck zu machen, weswegen der Check-in ein ganz wichtiger Moment ist. Dieser lief bei uns alles andere als rund. Erst bat uns die Mitarbeiterin am Schalter Geduld zu haben, da sie was wichtiges zu erledigen habe. Also haben wir uns hingesetzt und gewartet. Irgendwann winkte sie uns herbei. Die Mitarbeiterin legte dann mir wiederholt ein Check-in Papier vor, welches für einen anderen Gast gedacht war. Nachdem sie mir endlich glaubte eine andere Person zu sein, war unsere bestätigte Reservierung unauffindbar. Also wieder hinsetzen und warten. Irgendwann klappte es. Zurück blieb die Wahrnehmung nicht willkommen zu sein. Zum Glück beschränkte sich das Gefühl lediglich auf eine Person. Das Zimmer an sich ist gut, geräumig und sauber. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und mondän. Die Lage ist hervorragend, da nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Karlsbrücke. Die Frühstück sucht seines Gleichen. Es ist reichhaltig und qualitativ hochwertig. Um an den Pool und in den Spabereich zu dürfen, mussten wir einen Zeitraum definieren. Sehr ungewöhnlich und unangenehm sich zur Entspannung an einen genau gesetzten Zeitraum zu halten. Fazit: Tolles Gebäude, seltsame Gewohnheiten für den Besuch des Pools und holprige Check-in Prozesse.

This is a gorgeous hotel. We were more than pleased with the staff, amenities, and pool. It is located within walking distance of Old Town Square, Wenceslaus Square, the Powder Tower, and the Charles Bridge. The trolley (tram) operates on a set schedule that is very convenient. Lots to do. Lots of stores and dining options. It was a very good decision to book our stay here.
