The room is a super hot and my kids were sweating. The staff said 5 times they were gonna send someone to fix the ac and no body ever came and they couldn’t even bring me a portable fan. Really bad service

Personal del front desk no explica nada sobre la propiedad ni siquiera donde haces las reservaciones de los restaurantes. La puerta del cuarto estaba descuadrada y rota tenia que levantarla para poderla cerrar. El aire acondicionado del cuarto nunca enfrio. No tienen jugos naturales en las barras ni si quiera agua de coco. La limpieza de los cuartos es pobre. No lo recomiendo ni volveria.

This resort is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I went with my husband for our wedding anniversary. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. The hibachi restaurant in the resort was AMAZING!! They also have Japanese and Italian but we didnt get to try it. The buffet was nasty, we did not enjoy the food the entire time we were there. My suggestion for breakfast have them make you an omelette. The hibachi food saved us. The rooms smells like mold but I realize it’s not just this resort because we went to dreams for breakfast (so yummy) and their rooms also smell like mold.

Staff was not friendly, room not clean .Buffet food was not good ,cold, and not well cook. The only food was great was the Tokio restaurant . Casino they need to update or close it. The price was good but was not a good experience. The bar staff was good and Dominga de la Cruz from the buffet was always Friendly. She provided a good customer service. The rest needs to learn from her.The front desk people nice except 1 person . She was not pleasant to talk to.

The property outside is gorgeous, but the rooms need updating especially the bathrooms. I asked for a king size bed they gave me 2 fill size beds. I went downstairs and asked they said i had to wait till the next day. That room was towards the back and it smells like swamp so couldn't sit outside on the terrace. The next day i went downstairs to ask about the room, so they moved us but then the room they gave us was the exact same room we had left. We then told Wilkin the worker that assisted us and he called downstairs and they moved us again, we finally got the room we wanted. The bathroom didn't have any towels, so i spoke with the person who cleans the room and we were able to get some. We had to giggy the the toilet handle bcz if not i would continue running. Other than that we were pleased with the workers and the atmosphere. Another thing i didn't like was that we were asked to go see the other property owned by the same owner, i had asked if it was a time share thing and they said "no" but it was so i lost 3 hours of my time. I must say it was beautiful compared to the hotel we were staying at.

When I got to the property the room was not clean. And they didn’t change the bed sheets. Also I left for one day and when I come back my door was open because the door didn’t work. I was traveling alone and the made me really scared. Other than that everything was good.

The bad: Room smelled like ammonia, like burn your sinuses strong. Even with the patio door open all day long, the smell never dissipated. Ceiling began to leak water… dripped water all day and night, maintenance never came to fix anything. By the time we checked out the paint was starting to peel and the wall was cracking. Front desk provided 2 towels to soak up the water, and housekeeping would not change/replace the towels when they cleaned. Housekeeping only cleaned 2 times out of 7 days, and when they did they would forget to give clean towels. Called the front desk for towels… 4 hours later they finally delivered towels after I had to dry myself off with clothing after a shower. Booked excursions through the shuttle service when I booked our stay through Expedia. The security guard at the resort would not let our excursion driver pick us up. Security refused to drive us to the security gate to be picked up (probably about 1-2km away from the actual resort). They only allow “their” excursion drivers into the resort, information that was not told to us. Wifi was beyond spotty, even in our room. The resort “entertainment” was so loud that we could hear it in our room. On our first night the music didn’t stop until after 2am, which was so unappreciated after a long day travelling. The good: Never had an issue getting plates at the buffet (which was a common complaint when I read reviews). The pool was the perfect temperature! The beach was SPECTACULAR!

The vacation wasn’t perfect but worth it, the property is beautiful, the pools and the beach are stunning but upon arrival the resort was full and we were told that they didn’t have many rooms available even though we had booked a honeymoon suit. Our room didn’t have a properly working toilet and the shower drain was clogged, they put us in a room with 2 dublê beds. We went to the buffet that night and none of the servers spoke English so getting a simple napkin and cutlery was almost a mission impossible. The next day they promised us another room, the new room has no AC , the screen door to our balcony didn’t open but we got a working toilet and shower and a king bed, and apology letter and a small complementary bottle of rum. Room service was not provided everyday without having to be asked, some days no water or very low pressure in shower. The experience at the a la carte restaurants was a hit and miss. The Italian restaurant had us waiting a hour before even coming to talk to us, the food was mediocre and the staff were miserable and unpleasant. French restaurant was horrible as well, the chateaubriand we ordered was a very low cut of meat, full or hard gristle, impossible to eat. Staff was again unpleasant. The other restaurants were good, we specially enjoyed the Japanese, Mexican. The buffet is plentiful and some of staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Snack bars are good. Overall worth it but service and cleanliness could be improved. Seems understaffed.

Food was not great other than the Dominican Restaurant and Pizza restaurant in the pool area. Our room didn’t have AC and we had to ask 3x. Twice in the front desk and third via phone call. The room was outdated with a broken door knob in the bathroom and the bathtub kept clogging. The view of the ocean from our balcony however gave us the patience needed. Staff was super friendly and some will forever be in our hearts. Not sure if we’ll go back to this specific resort but who knows.

Its a average place, Some things are good some things are bad, Its like anything place some days the food was great some days pretty average. A few weird things we had family with of 4 with double beds, but every day the cleaning staff would just give you 2 clean towels after cleaning, so you'd have to call house keeping and request 2 more towels, The beds are smaller here, not queens they like they say. Great Beach! very big area!! lots of chairs.

3/4 of the nights there were very unpleasant. Bed sheets were stained and had to beg* staff to change them. Bedroom had cockroaches. Air conditioner was no good. Buffet food was subpar and so were the restaurants. Resort is budget and economical for a reason. You get what you pay for. Will not be booking ever again.

Most of the time the staff wasn’t great and I did tip generously however they looked like I was offended them when I would try and tip. Also i was sick almost the entire trip and went home early. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

The beach and grounds were amazing, much better than the other resorts we saw in that same area. The buildings are a bit run down but comfortable. Amazing views from ocean facing rooms. Food was average, but had a lot of options at the buffets. Overall I would go back based on the pools and beach- which is where we spent most of our time anyways!

The staff were all great and friendly. Some of the utilities were very outdated and needing maintenance. Our bathroom toilet wouldnt flush properly, our bathtub water faucet wouldnt stay attached, some of the public toilets throughout the facility wouldnt work or flush properly.

The outside of this property was kept in beautiful condition. The rooms are in disrepair and a lot of things in the rooms were broken and old. The air conditioning didn’t work half of the time, so the room got pretty warm. The sliding doors were extremely hard to open/close. There is only a couple options for shopping. The days that they had outside vendors, you are hounded each time you walk past. They did have a lot of food options, however the freshly made options were met with extremely long lines. I asked for a refill of coffee one morning, and a supervisor took my FULL cup out of my hand and told me they were out of coffee. Hotel casino was a complete joke! There were only a few slot machines and a couple of card tables. Nightly entertainment was subpar. I do not recommend this resort and REMEMBER that you get what you pay for.

I loved the property and the staff but the food was very subpar. The restaurants were good but you were only allowed 3 reservations and it was a hassle getting reservations because most of them are full. The buffet left a lot to be desired, the meat tasted funky and the food was very bland. The staff was great and service was great as long as you tipped. Overall, I would love to return to the resort but will not be because of the insufficient amount of nutritious food that tasted good.
