'We went to escape city life and experience a little country living and boy did this place deliver. Baby goats and free range chickens and kind hosts made this weekend getaway just what we needed. Additionally my daughter accidentally left her beloved stuffed animal behind and the host offered to mail it to us when they found it. Highly recommend.'

'We visited on a very cold winter weekend. The apartment was freezing when we got there but we were soon able to warm it up and enjoy. Accidentally blew a fuse with the space heater and kitchen appliances but the owner took care of it right away. Ample street parking, short drive from downtown. Highly recommend the National Comedy Museum!'

'Good value for the size of the place and centrally located. The AC was not the best, and may have been competing with the heat put out by the pilot light on the heater. Could use some ceiling fans in the bedrooms... maybe bring your own fan, as the bedrooms have no windows. Clean and has most everything else for a comfortable stay. It's on the 3rd floor, so you if you have any mobility issues, this could be a negative. Hosts were pleasant and available.'

'Great location, able to walk everywhere- market, restaurants, church, and the lake. Plenty of bedroom space, well appointed kitchen. Most is in good condition. Nice big dining table and chairs for meals and games. Easy parking. Drawbacks- steep, narrow staircase to beds and bathroom. Several uneven thresholds. These can trip even the careful. I don’t think I would recommend for elderly or small children because of stairs. That being said, the place had old fashioned charm with modern comforts.'

'We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....
