'It is situated in a historical building however very nicely decorated. The area has many many options. We came to Genoa by train and the location is 11-15 minutes walking distance. If you take the taxi it will leave you bottom of these steps and you need to carry your luggages Apartment’s elevator is on 1st floor so you also need to take go up 10-15 stairs to get to the elevator. The only thing negative about this apartment was the steps inside the unit which you need to take to go up to...

'We enjoyed our time in this cozy top floor apartment. It has a nice view of the sea, the church and the fort from a rooftop terrace. Convenient location, close to beach and shops. Small lift in building for 4 floors then two sets of stairs to the apartment. The last staircase is a bit steep and narrow. Bathroom is a tight fit, but has a full shower and nice hot water. Alberto and Nicoletta were very nice hosts with good response to communications and questions!'

'Séjour correct mais plusieurs points a revoir. + La localisation, l'espace canapé séparé avec petite dépendance atypique pour la TV, quartier top, immeuble sécurisé. - la propreté, l'équipement sommaire, table de nuit en carton, lit qui se déplie/pas une vraie chambre, meuble à ustensiles de cuisine brinquebalants, cuisine très petite -le mot est faible-, on entend tous les bruits extérieurs par la fenêtre, volet qui se ferme mal et qui joint mal, pas de possibilité de poser ses valises...

'The stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow, this should have been in the description. The washing machine did not work and when we contacted the host for help, he never responded. Also, kitchen supplies were not available (washing cloth and drying cloth)'

'Property was exactly like the pictures, and the property owners were very helpful when we had questions. The property itself is on a very busy alley with lots of noisy locals late into the night but the building itself is very secure.'

'We were traveling as a family with three young adults and two grandparents - and this was a fantastic find! The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if...

'This was a great place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. It was very special to be in the middle of the square. My only complaint was that the neighbors above were a bit noisy, but it didn’t inhibit our enjoyment. Note that there is no AC and no elevator to the room, but this was not a problem for us. '

'The property is in a noisy spot on weekends. They only give one roll if toilet paper despite being there for 4 days, no face cloths with towels, had to request hand soap. Could not close the shower door as it opens ‘in’ instead of out. A bit frustrating for spraying the bathroom when showering. Tile floors not good if a glass drops, had to ask for a broom and pan to clean up… Location is good for being a tourist at the waterfront although taxi could not find it… it is a remodeled apartment...

Then, it was good and the appartement is new but lot of things need to be improved : - AC remote control was broken so 30degrees with 4 kids is acceptable - broken shower (no pressure and leak) - no coffee pods or tea sachet for breakfast - broken ustensile - extra cost of 90€ for cleaning for 1 night '
