I had an exceptional stay at this recently renovated boutique hotel! Redone with style and flair without being pretentious. Breakfast was a treat with everything I wanted! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Ask David about the elevator story!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel im alten Zentrum von Reykjavik. Ein preiswertes Parkhaus befindet sich ca. 200m entfernt. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Nice stay
Really lovely boutique hotel that you can tell has been restored and is run with a lot of love and care. The beds were sooo cosy, it was warm and although the room was on the smaller side it was still comfortable enough for me and two big suitcases. Nice common area with a bar (happy hour) and free breakfast, the staff I met were really helpful and nice. Two small downsides: -There was a kettle but no tea, coffee nor spoons in the room. -The bathrooms are tiny; it was hard to use the loo because it was cornered by the very closed in wall, basin and shower so if you have wide hips like me you might find this awkward + although the shower itself was really nice and had great pressure, there was no proper door on it and some water flooded into the main room. Overall I had a great stay :)

All of the staff were wonderful. The room was nice. They offer a happy hour. I was a guest during the winter after a snow storm occurred. I disliked that the hotel did not shovel the sidewalk in front of the property. It was difficult maneuvering my roller bag along their sidewalk.

The staff was very curious and accommodated an earlier check in as our flight arrived early in the morning. Breakfast was adequate and the room was as well, kind of small but clean. The beds are very comfy, and firm which we love. A few blocks walk for free parking.

Hotel Incrível, muito aconchegante com instalações muito inteligentes, Mas o que mais chamou minha atenção foi o carinho dos proprietários. Alma tirou tempo para me dar detalhes e dicas sobre a Islândia que fizeram toda diferença na minha viagem. Café da manhã sensacional, me hospedaria novamente!

I loved staying in this hotel. Literally EVERYONE was so kind and helpful. The rooms are a little bit small, but you’re coming for the nature and Iceland ;) breakfast was delicious and you was able to take coffee and tea all day long. Thank you so much to everyone 🙏

We stayed here for a total of two nights and it exceeded our expectations! The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Joanna who gave us recommendations of Reykjavíks eating scene, bars and things to do. Overall, the comfort, location and included breakfast made this the perfect place to stay in Reykjavik.

Comfortable rooms and convenient location
Originally stayed in room next to elevator. It was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep. Staff were able to change room the next evening, which was a little quieter. Rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. Breakfast was included, and had a fantastic variety of hot and cold foods. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was on a quiet street, but within close walking distance to centre of town.

This is a charming small hotel that feels like a Scandinavian minimalist version of an Italian pension. It's owned by an impressive and friendly young couple who were very welcoming and provided great info and a great breakfast. Highly recommended.

We booked three room but they though we got two only and gave us special terrible rooms after few calls with manager. Room is small. Toilet is in dirty hostel level. Feeling too upset.

This is a very cute boutique hotel. The location is perfect. It's about two blocks from the main square in Reykjavik, so it's close enough to be convenient but far enough away that you don't get any noise or crowds. The owners are absolutely lovely and went out of their way to help us with any question we brought to them. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Reykjavik.
