'Great location for skiing at Granite Peak. Three other Dads and I brought eight 13 year old boys up for an annual ski trip. The sleeping arrangements, kitchen and access to the state park lot at the top of the mountain made this trip a great success.'

'Everything was nice and tidy. Nicely decorated. I really like that there was a safe spot to put our rig in the garage. First morning there was neat because we got to see a lake otter. that was cool. It's fun to see all the ginormous squirrels and birds. Nice and close to everything but you're not right in the town of Wausau. We are like 3 minutes from everything we needed. If I ever head that way I'll probably definitely stay there.'

'Our experience couldn’t have gone better. The home is updated, very modern, and in excellent shape. It is also perfectly situated. Additionally, Lesli is a perfect host. Our time in Wausau couldn’t have gone better and having this as a home base really helped make our weekend.'

'Stephanie’s home was small yet comfortable and cozy for our family and two dogs. I appreciated the ease of having a fenced yard for the dogs as well as the location of the home, which was convenient to where we needed to go. Stephanie communicated timely and ensured we knew we could reach out if we needed anything during our stay.'

'We needed a place near town for a funeral we were attending and also wanted space for family to visit after the funeral. My sister has a 14 month old puppy that would not do well in a hotel room. 'I stayed in this beautiful home with my son, daughter-in-law, and 2 1/2 year old grandson. From the moment we walked in (access instructions were easy), we were in love with this home! 'We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!'

'Beautiful and spotless home in a convenient location. I was in town for work and my wife and kids were able to come along. The kids love the backyard and playhouse, and the yard is fully fenced so we feel safe letting them run around. They had a fun at the new Children's Museum. We walked over to a nearby restaurant for breakfast, which was clean, good food and value. Also, took a walk around the neighborhood and down to the park and boat landing. We will be back again!'

'Has to be the most well-appointed rentals I’ve experienced with no small detail forgotten. A bit awkward with the one lower room w/ two doubles without a door. And the room upstairs has room for another bed, or larger than a twin to accommodate even more sleepers. But overall, a great property! We’ll be back because our short stay didn’t allow us to fully appreciate the outdoor space!'

'Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Although there are neighbors due to everything being so lush and green I never knew they were there. Feels very secluded. The Wisconsin River was mesmerizing and beautiful to look at. I truly enjoyed kayaking for some adventure and exercise while there. I loved using the fire pit for a bonfire for a cozy night in.
