'Our 2-night stay at Soggy Bottom Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's in a lovely quiet setting; secluded but close to Keeneland, distilleries, and restaurants. 'This home was in a perfect location. It is far enough away from the "busy" of Lexington but close enough to get where you needed to go easily. The home was as clean and organized as any VRBO that we have ever stayed in. Perfect for our long weekend get away. Had everything we needed. We would highly recommend it.'

'The house is charming, extremely clean and comfy. The linens and access to helpful kitchen items is a bonus. The ease of booking and gaining access waa seamless. The only little thing was that the sofa bed was in the same room with queen bed. We didnt need to use it but if our other guest had joined the trip it would have been difficult. The king and queen beds are very comfy. '

'My daughter and I stayed here while we attended an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is conveniently located and in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and green paddocks. John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there.'

'We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a graduation and it was perfect for our family and close to Asbury. There was a lot of extras…toiletries, other necessities and coffee as well as little things not thought of by most host. Places to improve would be to replace the vertical blinds with sheer/lightweight curtains. The futon was a bit challenging to manage. I would definitely stay again. ❤️'

'First and for most the cleaning fee was 100% reasonable, and then the host didn’t expect me to clean the house before leaving. This. Is.Huge! And made check out so simple!!!! They had lots of the necessities that you often have to buy such as dishwashing soap, even laundry detergent, lots of TP etc…so no need to make a trip to the store for that such an extra bonus! 'Great location! We went to horse races at Keeneland on Saturday (about 40 minute drive) and hiked East Pinnacle in Berea College Forest on Sunday (about 20 minute drive). Beautiful and so much fun! House was spotless and included all necessary amenities. Host was very responsive to all my questions; provided lots of tips on dining options in area. EKU is just a block away! Beautiful campus to take a walk.'
