OK Inn. We stayed here for two nights, the room was fine. Supermarket and restaurants within driving distance. Enough parking space.

We have stayed at this motel before and it was clean and tidy, and in a good location for our needs. This stay, however, was very disappointing. It appeared the bed was made fresh, although the bottom sheet was inside out (did they just turn it over instead of washing it??) The floor had hair and nail clipping and general dust/lint. There was a hair and shampoo stuck to the wall of the shower. There was no bedskirt, instead the zippered cover for the box springs was visibly dirty in several places from previous spills. (I wish I could share the photo with this review.) And, finally, the box spring was not seated properly on the metal frame. We were uncomfortable staying in such a dirty room, and will not be returning to this motel.

Well, Richmond is not the best place in No Cal. Hotel is old and decent upgrades inside the rooms. It was noisy and the room layout is bad. The bed mattresses move easily and not comfy. Best part is that Costco is near by and that was helpful. Will have to think twice if to stay here again.

No restaurants or stores within walking distance. Not ideal place to walk around in the dark. The room is fairly clean. Not too far from UCB and good price for a one night stay. This is my second stay here. I didn’t hear any noise from adjacent rooms. Maybe I got lucky. The bed is bad. Needs to replace. The pillows are bad. Hard and flat. The towels are thin and would not absorb water. But if you’re tired, you would just fall asleep quickly like I did. Parking is fairly safe. AC, fridge, microwave worked fine. Overall good stay and not over priced when visiting USB.

They dont tell you need $100 deposit and the staff is very rude they dont have an atm and they dont take certain card i spent an hour i the lobby transitioning money from account to account to pay a deposit on a room i already paid for

Thank you for your review! Please check the hotel policy online before making reservation as it clearly states about the deposit requirement. Also, you wanted to pay with your card, and you didn’t have any identification on you so we couldn’t accept your card and that’s why you had to make a transfer on your guest card.

Quiet, clean, spacious, well equipped. Shower maybe needs an update. AC or heating were effective. Very convenient place if you have a car, but an easy 15 minute walk to businesses on San Pablo. Also easy connection to BART, as the bus stops right on the corner at the Inn.

We stayed for two nights, it was very clean, the water from the shower came out a lot and warm. Although the fwy is next door, you can sleep. And the parking lot was close to our bedroom.

When I called I was told they accept small dogs. I arrived early around 11:00 am. I asked if it would be possible to check in before 3:00 pm. I was told no and at that time the front desk person saw my dog. When 3:00 came, and I was in the process of checking in, that is when he told me dogs were not allowed. Customer service is awful. You get differeng information depending on who you talk to.

I used to stay days here and always came back mostly due to great customer service from the owners cleanliness and comfort wasnt always the best but they took 15$ deposit because of towels missing i knew i shouldnt said something about there only being 3 towels because i didnt think they were petty 😔 the guy at the counter/the owner was rude im very disappointed
