Perfectly acceptable as a "pull-off and sleep for a night" location. Road/train noise audible, but I did not hear anything from adjacent rooms, only people outside. Older building that has been updated at some point, currently just a step away from completely fresh. Would use again.

Pets were welcome, but there was a $15/per pet fee. Unfortunately, our room smelled like dog. P.U. our dogs are small, get baths and do not stink

Brian Lakes was great to accommodate me with whatever I needed. Very friendly. I like the fact of being able to park right next to my room. Convenient to restaurants fast food, gas, and easy access to Interstate. I will definitely stay again, next time I am passing through.

You get what you pay for
It was a place to put my head down safely, but not to write home about. There were a few issues a former health inspector noticed like loose or missing electrical covers and certainly the sheets could have gone another cycle. Strangely in spite of that, I slept well. Seems pretty peaceful

The desk clerk was really friendly, but that is about the best i can say about this property. The walls are paper thin, the street noise was horrible and then there are the trains. Sometimes you get surprised, but you do usually get what you pay for. I recommend passing this one by if you can.

I had a hard time getting into the room. on there occasions during the weekend I had to visit the front desk to get help with the key card or have it replaced. I think there was something wrong with the lock, but I was told each time that I didn't know how to insert and move the card so the door would open. Also the weather stripping around the door was loose.

Terrible
Never stayed because hotel didn’t have pet friendly room and was going to put me in regular room. Was also on second floor with no elevator and I wanted ground due to ankle surgery. Canceled booking and stayed somewhere else. Hotels.com screwed up by putting a non English speaker on phone after I specifically asked for another person because he had horrible English and didn’t do that.

Definitely not what I was expecting based on the price per night. Washroom door was off the hinges and it didn’t closed. Towel rack was falling off as well. When I turned on the A/C Huge dust bunnies blew out!!! There was garbage in the trash from previous guests. On the positive the people were very nice. Not to mention it needs major cosmetic overhaul.

Old run down motel, room had a musty cigarette smell, was a non smoking room, walls had multiple layers of paint on top of paint every time it needed a touch up. Bed felt like it was it was hundred years old, towels had stains all over them. I only booked this place because of the reviews, thought I would take a chance and give it a try. Bottom line, do not believe the reviews for this place, it's a dump. Look elsewhere

The price was great! The property was obviously older, and the furniture was cheaper yet new. Room was a little smaller, but adequate. We just needed a place to sleep, and it was great at a great price, so over all really satisfied.
