'The house has a nice private and quiet feel and is great for family gatherings given the layout of the dwellings. The house itself is really neat and has been restored beautifully. It's about an hour drive to Charleston, so you can get away from the hustle and traffic of the city but also do the tourist thing pretty easily.'

'The interior seems to be completely brand new, there are still price tag stickers left on things! All the amenities you could need (except side tables next to the bed). Loved the private back yard so you could enjoy the window in the shower and the patio in peace. The neighborhood does seem to be in transition, cute breweries and fancy pizza places a few streets over. This property is still on the side that has been historically under-resourced. The neighbors were very engaged in our comings...

'Had everything we needed. The hammock chairs were blissful. The lake view was awesome. Spotting Julian the alligator a couple of times was very cool. Mill Creek Food & Spirits at the marina was delicious with beach-y drinks. Just overall a relaxing, dog friendly vacation.'

'The house itself is very nice. It's clean, has a nice setup, and has all the amenities you'll need. Communication with the host is quick and easy, and they're very nice. It's in a convenient location too, right by the loop so you're only about 15-20 minutes away from most of the things to do. The only real issue is the neighborhood doesn't look great, but there's nothing the owner can do about that. Overall, it was a great place for what we needed and we'd definitely stay there again.'
