Fijn verblijf
Heel fijn verblijf gehad. Comfortabel hotel, dicht bij oude stad, shopping malls en station. Lekker eten en vriendelijk personeel.

Een geweldig hotel in de prachtige stad Riga!
Geweldig vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Steeds in de weer om het je als toerist zo prettig mogelijk te maken in een fantastisch mooi Riga! Een absolute aanrader! Wij hebben ongelooflijk van ons verblijf genoten!

Ruime kamers, goed onderhouden, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Hotel is ideaal gelegen aan de rand van oude stad, op wandelafstand van het station, de overdekte markt en de art nouveau wijk.

nice place, good room, on the edge of the old town. The food in the restaurant diner and breakfast fantastic. Unfortunately there were 2 big negative things during my stay. 1: the Airconditioning is pointed directly at the bed which made me sleep with a cap on my bold head 2: some terror kids running screaming through the open plan floors for hours, chasing each other, ruined the enjoyment of my diner. The total lack of the staff acting in a efficient manor, claiming there was no management available in the hotel (?really?) let this potentially fine place degrade to a youth hostel environment where the guest payed 100+ euro's for.

First and foremost we are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience here at Avalon Hotel & Conferences. We take all complains very seriously and making future actions based on them. Please be informed that hotel administrator on Friday eve three times turned to children parents with request to ask children to be more quiet based on that hotel is full of other guests and there is complains about noise. Unfortunately parents turned to children but from their side wasn't any action. Based on the LR law about noise level in during the day till 11pm there isn't any restrictions, that's why hotel staff tried to do what they can. We are really sorry about air conditioning in room, that's why we recommend guests to turn it off at time of night and open windows for fresh air, but we understand this situation and it is in our future plans, to find some solution for this problem. We will personally welcome you back to our hotel and promise to do our best for your comfortable stay! With much appreciation, Administration

Prima hotel op een zeer goede lokatie
De ligging is perfect namelijk aan de rand van de oude stad (dus rustig) en op minder dan 5 minuten loopafstand het busstation en treinstation. Deskundig en vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie die de engelse taal goed machtig is. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. Het enige minpuntje is dat je bij een kamer aan de voorkant het raam dicht moet houden vanwege geluidsoverlast van station en verkeer. Door de dubbele beglazing heb je absoluut geen last van de geluidsoverlast. Airco werkt overigens prima op warme dagen en we hadden het geluk dat we een kamer op de 7 etage hadden dus met een gerust hart overdag een raam open konden laten staan.

The hotel is in a very good location. Bus stop is close by so one could save money for airport transport. The quality of breakfast is very good. The staff are friendly. It is an excellent 4 star hotel. Have already recomnended it to friends.

Dankeschön für diese schönen Tage im Avalon. Das Personal hat sich immer die größte Mühe gegeben um den Gästen einen sehr guten Aufenthalt zu gewähren. Zimmer und gesamtes Hotel sehr sauber. Rezeption Personal ist spitze.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the room was wonderful. The only issue we had was with some confusion regarding booking at taxi to pick us up from the airport, but that was a minor thing (and as we ended up getting a different taxi the hotel removed this from our bill). Location wise it is very close to the Old Town, so you can walk to many of the major tourist attractions. 5 stars!

The hotel was very convenient-walkable to most tourist attractions alongside good transport links. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread had wide variety to cater to varying dietary choices. Would definitely recommend this place

2024年G.W.に宿泊しました。チェックインの際に車で来たことを伝えると車に置くカードを貰え、駐車係に従うよう言われました。ホテル目の前に置けるので便利です。立地等に関しては他の方の口コミにあるようとても良いと思います。1点あるとすれば夕食込みでの予約にも関わらず、チェックイン時その案内がありませんでした。レセプションに夕食会場はレストランと教えてもらい、レストランに入ったら夕食の予約者には予約カードの持ち込みが必要と言われ、わざわざレセプションまで貰いに行ったら渡されました。たまたまかもしれませんが、他はなんの問題もありませんでした。

非常に立地も良く、またどのスタッフも接客も素晴らしいホテルでした。 朝食は種類が豊富なビュッフェで、いつも整理されていて食事も美味しかったです。 唯一の難点は、22:00以降は消灯で静かにと案内がありましたが、週末は騒音が多く寝るのに苦労しました。

Funktionales, sauberes Hotelzimmer mit schönem Blick (8. Stock) auf die Markthallen. Das Bett war bequem. Geschätzt haben wir den Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ( nan konnte das Fenster nur" kippen "), war die Straße, Straßenbahn und die Züge gut zu hören. Aber es hat uns nicht weiter gestört, auch nicht nachts. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Sehr guter Kaffee! Due lage des Hotels ist sehr praktisch, nur wenige Minuten in die Altstadt. Der Bus zum Flughafen hält fast direkt vir dem Hotel. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

Hotel razoável, atendimento médio. Às vezes tínhamos de esperar o atendente chegar na recepção. Sou diabético. No café da manhã, eu levava meu adoçante especial. Num dos dias, esqueci na mesa e o hotel jogou fora, o que nos chocou muito. Esperávamos, ao menos, que eles enviassem o remédio para a recepção.

Excellent value for money
check in was efficient and the room was ready early. Hotel was clean everywhere. The room was lovely and warm, too warm but the air con worked great. Only issue was, I requested a twin room with separate beds and thy were pushed together. we managed to move the beds but would have preferred 2 separate beds. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and at the weekend sparkling wine was provided. All staff were friendly and professional. Hotel is great position for Old town, Market, Jewish Ghetto, River and Stockman department store with a lovely restaurant. Very convenient for the airport bus, it stops directly outside the hotel. This was my second stay and I would stay here again should I return to Riga.

Amazing. Fantastic value 5 star quality
This place is simply amazing value for moneu if you take the half board option. Our half board stay for £63 in off season was amazing. The two course meal at dinner was 5 star quality. Absolutely delicious and breakfast was wonderful. The bed was so comfy. The bath was really large.
