'We really enjoyed our stay at Sol y Luna. The location was excellent. The Shores development is growing and buildings are popping up all over. The development is nice but the buildings that are a few years old are in need of maintenance. We did find it strange that we were only provided two rolls of TP for both bathrooms and one roll of paper towels. There was no soap for the dishwasher. Also there was no salt and pepper which is not something i usually think about bringing when I rent a home....

The provided beach items and extra amenities were extremely helpful with our stay. We really enjoyed the large amount of space to hang out and get some rest. The kitchens weee also helpful for cooking meals. Communication with host was excellent. Any minor inconvenience was taken care of or addressed in a timely manner. 'Overall we had a nice trip. Location was good, close to food, shopping, and South Padre beaches. Home is very small for 3 adults and 1 dog. Beds were not so comfy but hot tub was a nice added bonus.'

'The cottage was surrounded by its own little tropical oasis, that made feel it very private & secluded. The home provided a comfortable setting for our stay, and we enjoyed the central location for birding the hotspots on SPI & the mainland.'

'Not your place to stay if you fear cats 🐱, we had to be watching the cats all the time or they would eat our bait and 🐟 , to have an afternoon bbq was a hassle, cats wanted to climb on the picnic table, pier is nice and spacious, it has a sink but no light or running water, and could use more lighting in "the park".. best part check out was at 1pm!'

'We have stayed at this home twice, and will return again! It is clean, beautiful fishing deck and huge yard, and only 20 minutes to the beach. Privacy in a beautiful neighborhood. I caught catfish using shrimp for bait, so don't forget your fishing gear! Cesar is a great host, and answers all inquiries immediately. Looking forward to our next stay!'
