'This property was perfect for my family with 3 kids, five years old and younger. The inside is clean and beautiful with many thoughtful touches. And the outside is serene and spacious, with front and back porches to relax on and watch the kids play. We loved the feeling of being out in the country while having the conveniences of a full kitchen and a thoughtfully furnished space. The owners are wonderful - quick to respond to messages and so kind and considerate! Loved, loved, loved!'

'We had our three adult children and their significant others come to celebrate a family wedding. The home was perfect for us as we enjoyed the large dining room and fully stocked kitchen. The separate mother in law suite in the back was perfect for a couple and provided a quiet space. If you are bringing young children, this home would be perfect! 'Rough start, the code had been changed by the manager, but the door was left unlocked, so we initially got right in. When we locked the door and then came back to the property, suddenly we were locked out. It was after dinner and late in the evening. We had to try and get ahold of the host, which took about 1.5 hours. Ultimately, we were given the new code and they brought us a lovely gift basket the next day as an apology. We appreciated the gift basket and understand how the problem happened....

'What a great stay for our family! This retreat is a sweet, cozy cottage right on the banks of the Brazos River. It’s only a few miles from Waco but you’ll feel miles away from the world! The house had everything possible you could need. It is well appointed and was comfortable sleeping for 6. There is great outdoor space with a fire pit and chairs right by the river. We will definitely look to stay here again!'

'The property owner is so thoughtful and has the property set up well for guests! I feel the location is convenient for visiting Waco or surrounding areas. For us with a student at Baylor, this location being south of Baylor is fabulous for traffic during popular Baylor weekends since you can travel on Old Robinson Road and skip I-35.'

'Our stay was short but very pleasant. We enjoyed the outdoor area, as is was a great way to relax after long days. The room was very clean and comfortable.'

'The interior and amenities were perfectly satisfactory, BUT we were disapointed that the yard was not maintained, the firepit that was advertised didnt exist, and the whole street and neighboring property was under major construction. The latter part is no fault of the owners, it was just a bit misleading, thinking we had a cute cozy backyard for the kids to play in, but instead had to share it with work vans and bulldozers. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, and I can imagine this place...
