'We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. 'Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. 'My husband and I stayed here in for several nights and really enjoyed our time. It's a very cute guest cottage close to the main downtown. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. Nice amenities, such as a fan, record player, wine/bottle opener & glasses, kitchen supplies, plenty of blankets, and designated parking spot. It was also very nice having a fenced backyard available for us. Highly recommend this charming cottage!'

'We stayed here for a fall wedding in Winterport. Cabin was great for my family and loved being closer to Belfast. The rocky beach in front of cabin is great to explore. We found the place to be very clean and the mattresses to be comfortable. It’s a quick 5 minute drive to town. We would stay here again!'

'We 3 adults enjoyed the quiet setting, the eagles in the trees above us (whoa!), the layout of the place, and more. Unfortunately, three areas are ready for updates: the only bathroom, the windows (which simply need a good cleaning, inside and out), and a few trees (because selective pruning, especially of deadwood, would make water views real). Otherwise, thumbs up--and thank you.'

'This property is full of surprises! We didnt have the greatest weather. Rain and heavy fog all weekend 'but' this place kept us busy. We had fun exploring the property. The apple trees, the berry bushes. Tree fort and 2 amazing, pretty private beaches. We woke up early enough to watch the lobster boats head out for the morning catch. Shortly after a group of Deer eating freshly fallen apples right near the house. The fall folliage couldn't be beat. We got to see an amazing sunrise the final...

'Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.'

'I traveled solo and it was the perfect respite. Check in is simple, Pilot welcomes you with a wagging tail and gives the grand tour. Having left my own furry friend at home, I was happy for his company. Furnishings are more updated than the photos show. I can't imagine anyone needing anything more than what this cottage provides. Mind your head when you climb the spiral staircase. I was grateful for the bluetooth speaker in the living room. This was a perfect solo stay, I'd recommend for couples...

'Pros: Quiet. This is it if you are looking for quiet. The cottage: The glassed-in porch is the star. The windows open too. The kitchen is updated and a pleasure to cook in. The living room is very cozy at night. There was a musky smell when we 1st arrived, but went away quickly once all windows were open and never came back, but then again the windows were open the whole vacation. Cons: The view will be obstructed soon if the owner doesn't cut down some small trees, it seems without affecting...

'We absolutely LOVED our stay at 'Loon Cottage.' It was just the two of us, so we were glad to be able to rent a place that didn't have tons of extra bedrooms and space we didn't need. 'This waterfront cottage was exactly what my son and I were hoping for! It was tastefully decorated with seaside decor and comfortable furniture inside and out. The outdoor fire pit was a big plus with its large pile of firewood to boot. We so much enjoyed our stay here, it was hard to say farewell... Thank you Cindy for a great experience.'

'We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back.'

'This home was even better than the pictures! The space is so cozy and decorated beautifully. The hosts left a huge bouquet of fresh flowers for us along with bread, chocolates, and jams. Checking in and out was super easy and the home had all the accommodations you could need. Definitely will be back!'
