'The home was large and spacious and it met our accomodation needs. I loved the large, beautiful, shady front yard. We didn't feel comfortable using the back yard since people lived right there. Parking on the street was a bit difficult on the long weekend. Lots of others cars we parked on the street. Overall it was what I had hoped for.'

'We lived in this house while attending college. College roomies and I got together for our annual trip and spent the weekend enjoying Chico and reminiscing about all the great memories in the home. We walked everywhere and enjoyed hanging out in the backyard. Thanks for a great weekend.'

'My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend in this cute little house in Chico. It's location enabled us to walk downtown, to the campus, to many good restaurants, and to Bidwell Mansion yet it was very quiet inside. (Light sleepers might want to know the train does travel through town several times at night.) We could easily drive to Sierra Nevada Brewery and to hiking in Bidwell Park. The kitchen had what we needed for simple meals, the bed was very comfortable and the overhead lighting...

'This is a cute, nicely renovated, roomy, detached cottage set in the middle of a fruit orchard. It was sparkling clean and very quiet which is just how we like it. We were charmed by the orange trees over the patio and at the front door. Despite the bucolic setting, we found it was just a few minutes drive to downtown Chico to restaurants and stores. The hosts were very responsive to any communication and provided clear instructions for checking in and out.'

'The house was clean and having a bedroom with on suite located at the other side of house from other two bedrooms was good if privacy is something one interested in having. The neighborhood was quite and felt safe. Downtown was a nice walking distance too. I recommend The Rooster Cafe if you’re looking for variety and good tasting food.'

'Sort of a hidden gem in 'the middle of nowhere'. Located almost on the I5, but absolutely no noise in the rooms, so that was a great start. Just as the check in by the really friendly staff. We would recommend dining at Farwood Bar & Grill in Orland 'Downtown'. Best burger I had ever had and a 'local' feel'. This town incl. hotel was a great experience.'
