It's too bad I ended up spending more money for a room here, far away from most of the sites and interesting parts of the city. Seems like I overpaid given the quality of this hotel, with sub standard features. I was honestly surprised at this place when I entered as reviews and photos seemed to make it look nice. But lesson learned.
The raucous crowd from the night club scene across the street got in the way of restful sleep. Was put up in a room where the window was broken aka didn't close fully and there was no fridge, for the first night which meant I heard everything going on outside. The reception deck was able to move us into a new room the next evening, only for us to discover the toilet was not flushing. After a third attempt at relocating to a different room we did get some sleep but you could still hear the bar crowd outside until 5am.
Staff were nice but they didn't offer anything for the trouble we dealt with, for example free breakfast or some refund for a portion of the stay. WiFi wasn't working half the time either. Only good thing is proximity to good restaurants, bus options, and size of room. Will not stay again, and should have simply left before staying the second night.
