Excellent customer service. Yes, the unit I stayed in was dated along with the furniture. Plus, maintenance was waiting for the contractor to add more freon to the building’s air conditioning system. However, Oscar the maintenance guy constantly made sure I was cool enough and brought me a box fan. Every employee was very friendly so the fact this was an affordable place, the large size of the unit, free breakfast and more earns five stars!

Our room was in a building being renovated, which is fine but there was no mention of it when I booked and would not have had I known. The room itself was also the smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen personally. We asked to be moved and they said there was nothing they could do but I looked online and saw other rooms available.. Ended up moving us to another room for a $50 fee. Felt like a bait and switch and wasted a good part of our evening dealing with it

I stayed at Lionsgate Hotel for one night during visit to North Highlands CA. Checking in was a breeze & staff was pleasant , professional. My room(ADA) was very clean, neat , comfortable & aesthetically pleasing. Very quiet & well kept area in/ around hotel grounds too! Free breakfast the following morning was delicious and lovingly prepared/presented! Dining facilities were very clean and operated by smiling, helpful, caring staff! Overall stay @ LionsGate Hotel was very good & I would recommend it to family and friends!!A very good hotel for your hard earned money ! Ps “ Rooms like exactly like they are described and depicted on Expedia’s website”!!!!😏👍👍

Never been in a suite before so I enjoyed that part! I didn’t agree with the hard to find office as I was checking in very late and it was dark I had to call front desk while I was already on property! The staff was friendly helpful always dutiful! The hotel is quiet and seems more like laid back apartments or used to be apartments? The layout is spacious. Some of the areas were in need of updates old carpets, old design but it didn’t bother me all that much. The laundry room was tiny and was locked when I needed to use it so was the pool!! It was ice cold water so that made sense! The laundry I just had to call the office to open it! Then call again later because it was locked again! Hopefully the hotel reads this comment! I appreciate the thoughtful idea of utilizing key cards to access areas on the facility but that seriously needs updating majority of door have key card access but as I recall the only one that worked was access to my room! Thanks because of the service and hard working staff I would probably stay here again they were a big help!

I found the woman on the front desk when I arrived unhelpful and not welcoming at all. I had to return later that night to ask where breakfast was served and what were breakfast times. This should have been mentioned when I arrived. I was unsure how the coffee machine worked and when I asked her she simply said she doesn’t drink coffee. Thought that was a rude unhelpful reply as she should know how it works even if she doesn’t drink coffee. Part of my floor looked like it was being refurbished or under construction and there was a strong smell of resin in the hallway. No lift to the 2nd floor. There is disabled lift but no one explained how it worked so actually got stuck in it for few minutes as there’s no clear instructions how to use it. Also safe wouldn’t lock properly. Won’t be returning to this hotel or recommending to anyone.

Upon arrival, to our room which was in the manor lodge, my key was not activated so I had to go back to get it programmed upon the doors opening the entrance rugs were not vacuumed very dirty, also the rug leading to my room was dirty looked like rundown hotel. Our t.v kept turning off. The bed had hole in the top blanket. The place just was not inviting. We left same day.
