De eerste kamer die we kregen gaf een muffe geur. gevraagd naar andere, die iets beter was. Die was aan de voorkant waar je wel auto's hoort. Voorzieningen verder ok hoewel bij het ontbijt wat op zich goed was werd wel karig gedaan met bijvullen.

Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Dated, and a little dingy, but clean and comfortable. As with all downtown hotels the location was ideal for entertainment, but also close to homelessness.

Very helpful staff; everyone was attentive & pleasant. The young man who helped with directions to various places was much appreciated. The front desk was attended by staff which is also much appreciated.

The GM tried to make everything right but unfortunately things were not good in the sense of conditions with the age of the two rooms I stayed in. After issues in the 1st room I was moved and there was NO water pressure unless you kept it on ice cold- they fixed the shower hot/cold faucet but it didn’t matter. Couldn’t take a shower the last two nights. Absolutely pathetic! GM was great but unfortunately the property needs a ton of upgrades.

This hotel was dirty and falling apart. The air conditioning didn't work and the rooms were extremely hot and muggy. The grout was cracked and parts of the wall were crumbling in the bathrooms. The light in the bathroom had holes in the ceiling all around it. I had to buy ant traps from Target because the bathroom also had ants. We had multiple rooms at this hote the past weekend and it is by far one of the worst places I've stayed.

Our room had tons of bugs so we moved to another room it was also full of bugs. The ladies up front are helpful. Zero drinks water ect to buy. No quarters for laundry they dont carry any on hand. SLC has gone down hill.

Check-in: took nearly an hour. Apparently their system doesn’t register Expedia bookings…? Room: way too warm. I know early Spring is still a bit chilly, but there is no reason the room should be 80 degrees at night. The AC didn’t work; I was informed that they turn off the entire AC to the building in the wintertime, but this was in late March. Key: my keycard only worked once before needing to be reset by the front desk. This meant that I could not re-enter my room without going down to the front desk - every single time - to get it reset. Extremely inconvenient. Breakfast: it was solid, there were a number of typical options available. No issues here. Staff: they tried to help as much as they could, but I felt that their hands were tied with some issues like the AC, the keycard not working, slow check-in process, etc.

This hotel is pay for what you get. The staff was very friendly and the facility was just what it was. Mostly clean, mostly good condition, but not completely clean or up-to-date. For the price, I would stay again, but it would depend on why I was going to SLC.

I stayed here with my 17 year old daughter. We had the first room down from the front desk with a shared wall with the laundry and ice machine. The ice machine and people in the hallway woke us up multiple times during the night. The windows and the bathtub looked original (around 30 years old) and both rusty. Single pane windows allow all noise from parking area inside the room. We found ants in the bathroom and in one bed. We also found a toe nail on the bathroom floor and popcorn on the floor. My daughter thought the bed was lumpy. IMO the bed was fine and the bedding looked new. The room and hotel had a strong disinfectant smell. The front desk were apologetic when I told them of our experience, but only offered free/discounted future stay since we booked through Expedia. I would not stay here again if it was free. The breakfast was great. All staff were courteous and friendly

Last night the AC wasn’t working and after notifying the staff multiple times they kept promising they were gonna fix it and give us a discount for the inconvenience. After barely getting any sleep I went back to the front desk just to find out apparently they only have a heater not AC. Not sure who’s lying but at this point I’ve given up, worst experience I’ve had in a while, not worth the money or the trouble.

The drains in both the bathtub and the sink were obstructed causing water to accumulate quickly in both, and the sink outlet plumbing leaked causing water to puddle underneath. We notified the front desk the following morning, and requested that the room be serviced. None of this was done. My wife was able to at least get clean towels later that evening after we returned to the room.

The room was dirty and dingy, it had water damage, the heater was stuck on and it was over 90 degrees in our room. They said there was nothing they could do and would "have the manager check if there was a discount after we left" absolutly horrible stay. And the parking lot is not large enough to acomadate all the guests so we had to park several blocks away in a dark parking lot.

Most of the appliances and fixtures in the bathroom were broken. There were many black hairs on the fold out bed sheets. Somebody was smoking in the facility and the smell of the smoke was so bad in our room, that we had to leave early.
