'We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs.'

'We had a very enjoyable stay at this home. Had everything we needed and close to everything! Some of our family came by and we enjoyed cooking out on the grill and watching bunnies, white squirrels and chipmunks playing around the yard!! Great place and would definitely go back!!'

'This little house is adorable, very clean, and had all that we needed. The location has a beautiful mountain view from the front porch with well a landscaped front lawn. Gina made us feel at home and gave us great tips on restaurants, hiking and local events & history on the community. I can’t wait to schedule another stay. It was the perfect birthday weekend!'

'This house was easy to find. It had a nice secluded feel. The owners were very friendly and went above and beyond for us during an unexpected extended stay. The house was fully stocked for our needs. There are no tvs in the bedrooms, but we were ok with that. Overall great house and location. I would book it again.'

'The house is amazing. The view is beautiful. We spent most of our time relaxing, but there are plenty of things to do. The playroom was such an amazing plus and the game room is really nice. The bedrooms are great. We found the Palmetto State Trail and had a nice hike. The house is close enough to the beautiful town of Hendersonville. We took a day trip to Biltmore. The town of Saluda is a great little mountain town to spend some time in. Highly recommend Greenriver BBQ.'

'We fell in love even more with this listing in person. It was absolutely perfect for our elopement. It was so peaceful to hear the nearby waterfalls and creeks. The kids really enjoyed themselves. We plan to come back many times! Check in was super easy, house was very clean, the hosts were so accommodating and just wonderful people.'
