Leuk hotel in een aparte huls!
De kamers waren prima en de ligging van het hotel is ook erg centraal. Het gratis parkeren maakt dit wel een goed hotel. Ontbijt is iets minder maar dat was vooraf al bekend dat het een ‘lite ontbijt’ zou zijn. Dus voor dat was het prima! En de hotelmanager ms Ivy is erg vriendelijk!

Niet boeken of alleen generoveerde kamer doen
De kamer ziet er heel anders uit dan op de foto. Blijkbaar was dat een gerenoveerde kamer waarvoor extra betaald moest worden en helaas waren deze allemaal bezet. Het ziet er heel gedateerd uit, wc spoelt niet goed door, douche lekt. Heel slecht ontbijt! Alleen wat verpakt zoetigheid ligt er. Veel zwervers en mannen die als vrouw zijn lopen van de kaart door de buurt heen. Het positieve is dat je wel redelijk in het centrum zit en eventueel lopend alle kanten op kan.

Read the fine print. Not worth the stay
The room itself wasn't bad. I was charged $30 for having an extra car. There was no breakfast and it said there was. The elevator was broken. It said room service and there was none.

Everything was good so far, i like plants outside the hotel, the parking lot is safe, it was only 10 minutes to UCSF, wonderful customer service..will definitely come back again..

Overall we had a nice stay. The room was clean and updated. We appreciate that the parking was enclosed and monitored. The walking area was a smidge sketchy but we had no issues. They are sticklers about their rules and checkout being NLT 11AM. The continental breakfast wasn’t a breakfast at all. Just coffee and a store bought pastry. But overall the stay was what we needed.

Perfect basic stay
Came to stay for one night on a business trip. Hotel is almost a motel. It's set back from the street but does have an open courtyard with rooms facing inward. Very relaxed. Staff very friendly and down to earth. This is a simple hotel, room was very clean and quiet, did what I needed. I especially appreciated the coffee machine had some solid, real coffee cups. A nice little detail waking up (instead of the typical paper/styrofoam). If you're looking for a no-frills decent place to sleep on a budget, this will do. Internet was a bit flaky but my hotspot worked fine at the location. I didn't expect breakfast to be included -- it was a pretty weak breakfast (packaged danishes, juice and coffee) but given the room rates I can't complain. A very nice coffee shop is 2 doors down with more substantial fare.

Quiet oasis in an urban sea
The place was amazingly clean, tidy, secure, and quiet for the neighborhood. It was like a little enclave in the middle of chaos. The bed could have been more comfortable however.

Trevligt mottagande när vi kom. Gratis kaffe och juice. Inget trevligt område. Inga restauranger i närheten. Rekommenderar att ta ett hotell där det finns mer att göra och inte en massa uteliggare.

Don’t stay here until neighborhood improves.
Reviews on which we based this choice were good. But the neighborhood is in the midst of homeless encampments. Although the room had two twin beds, as requested, it was tiny, with no frig or microwave. When we requested an upgrade, we did receive another room, but after we moved, it turned out that it was not available for the 3 nights we needed. The third choice was great, with a separate living room and two separate bedrooms. Thus, the service by staff to accomodate our requestts was very good.

This location was inexpensive compared to everything else in the area. It is a good location if you are going to an event at Oracle Park. It is an easy 1.2 mile walk. Straight up Folsom, make a right on 3rd. I specifically chose this hotel because it has secured parking garage. The chances are high you will have a break-in if you have to park on the street in this area. The rooms were clean and basic. Noise minimal. Non-smoking property. Front staff, 2 guys, are great! Just a block away there are a lot of homeless milling about. They didn't bother us but if you walk that direction you have the smell, trash, number of homeless. There are a couple restaurants in walking distance going through this area but it wasn't a big deal. I don't think I would walk in that direction by myself as a female. Although I never felt unsafe. They are in the opposite direction of Oracle Park. There are a few restaurants in the area. There is a coffee joint a half block away. Extreme Pizza close by. Joyride Detroit style pizza was SUPER good. There are a couple locations but the closest one is easily accessible on top of a museum or something like that. Outdoor stairs to get to it. Large indian restaurant on Folsom and 3rd. It was DELICIOUS! Another very good breakfast place is The Bite. All are close by. I recommend this hotel if you aren't picky. I would stay again for Oracle Park event.
