They give a room and It was already booked, it was so accurate and the second day the key wasn’t work, and went we got the reservation you offered breakfast and it was not breakfast.

I arrived at the hotel just to find out there was no rooms available. I arrived around 2am because our flight got in late from San Francisco (1hr) drive to the hotel.. I booked the room have the insurance for the room and they didnt even have a room available.. worse night of my life with an 8year old just ready to lay down..

Lors de notre réservation, le petit-déjeuner était inclus et à notre arrivée, on nous informe que ce n’est plus disponible. On nous rembourse seulement 5$ par personne pour un séjour de 2 nuits pour cet inconvénients. Vraiment décevant. Sinon hôtel très bien.

I was so disappointed in breakfast. It got moved to a very small room with no tables for seating except for outside of the swimming pool. They quit serving any kind of juice, no cereal, no muffins, no waffles, and they only fruit were very small oranges, not mandarins. They may as well advertise that it's a very limited Continental breakfast now for those of us that have been staying there frequently through the years. This is a big change, for the worse

The gym doesn’t open until 10 am, breakfast is horrible and if you are looking to use the room for any work, they don’t give you a desk, instead you have very low tables making it impossible to work. Nice facilities but not going to stay here again.

Very nice room. Prettily decorated. Hidden Gem within walking distance to EV Charging, Starbucks and stores. Very Quiet. We plan to stay here next time we visit Santa Rosa.

We had a confirmed reservation at The Sandman and when we arrived for check-in, we were informed that they no longer had a room for us, as they overbooked. Instead of helping doing what is the norm in that situation, apologize and start working on finding another hotel to move us to, the two clerks at check-in made us and another guest in the same situation, call Expedia instead. When we asked to speak to the hotel Supervisor, the two Sandman Hotel clerks refused to do even that. The Sandman check-in staff was completely unprofessional. Expedia was fantastic and helped find a hotel for us to move to within an hour of the start of the check-in fail. But that should not have been Expedia's job, the Sandman overbooked, then refused to help the customers they negatively impacted. I will never go to The Sandman again and hope Expedia drops them as one of their hotels in their network.

My spouse and I stayed here for one night. Upon checking in the gentlemen did not seem friendly at all. However, he checked me in quickly. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing was our sink would not drain and when we called the front desk said they couldn’t send anyone until the following morning when we would check out. I’m glad it was just the sink and not the toilet. The breakfast was basic but good. The pool was nice and the seating area was very nice. It was pet friendly so it was nice and my dog got to play with some other dogs and that was fun. Overall I would stay again in the future.

We reserved a king but were given 2 queens. The desk staff we not able to assist us. Also the AC was unplugged. When we figured it out we discovered the reason was it wouldn’t shut off. We tried to call for a late checkout but no one answered the phone at the desk. Hotel is clean, convenient and a great value…just know customer service is not a priority

I was checked into someone else’s room where 4 teenage boys were getting into bed for the evening. I was super freaked out and they were scared as well since I had been sent to their room and opened the door. I spoke to the receptionist and he kept telling me it was a computer glitch, not his fault or issue for me to be upset about. then they put me in a new room and told me to speak with a manager in the morning for a refund request. I spoke with the manager and he told me he would send a refund if Expedia lets him push it through but that I will likely have to speak with Expedia myself. Overall it was a bad experience and I would not recommend . I am thankful that the kids were okay and that I didn’t walk in on someone dangerous or vice versa. The situation was very frustrating and potentially very dangerous

Nice and clean motel. The staff was nice at the reception and bartender were all friendly and professional. Breakfast was short of a disaster as the item selection was poor at best, there was limited space and the person in charge was in the kitchen not restocking or being helpful at all. Also, when asked to call the front desk and ask for pool towels she replied “no,” but at that point I wasn’t sure if even she spoke English or what she was doing there. The swimming pool was a little crowded filled with noisy kids diving and screaming and the jacuzzi was worse and not a place to relax. The towel rack wasn’t stocked well. Overall, close to being a sweet nice place but need some improvements. Although the area seems safe there is not much around yet the Vietnamese restaurant has excellent and service and really good food. There are also 2-3 restaurants within walking distance that were recommended. I will give The Sandman another chance.

The rooms are spacious and newer, no tub in our room but the shower was kinda fancy. Lovely shampoo/conditioner and body wash but not the little samples, they’re full bottles secured to the wall. The property is clean and well maintained with nice landscaping and hangout area. Pool is big and clean but heavily chlorinated. My favorite thing is their breakfast; its so delicious to me. Bacon, sausage, eggs, bagels and croissants! Yogurt and granola, fresh fruit. Oh my gosh I dont know why I loved it so much but it was good! But on our last day the office staff were rude to us and there wasnt any breakfast. I was so sad and we havent been back since.

No phone charging ports. No soap at the vanity sink for handwashing, had to get it from the shower. The toilet didn’t flush well every time and ran water constantly. The floor in the shower was a little slippery. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Cleanliness was acceptable.

What a nice experience! Check in was pleasant and my dog Stella really appreciated the dog romp and run area! Nice pool area with a hot tub. Good lounging area. The room I had was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here in the future.
