The idea around this hotel is great, the area is fun and there are lots of bars and restaurants as well as events. The room we stayed in for $500 a night was no where up to par with a room for that price. The walls were so thin in the bathroom you could listen to your neighbor's TikTok. Service was slow by no fault of the employee, the hotel is understaffed. The outside noise at night on the city "view" side was terrible at 1:30 am, perhaps I would have liked a river view more? Calling down for your car or for a bellman took forever as no one manned the phones. The room was very small, a basic room in my opinion. The bed was comfortable, there was a chair to sit in as well, and there was a small window on one quarter of the outside wall. The rest of the wall is covered by a drapery. It did feel very boxed in. All in all I would say I enjoyed the area, but I don't think I would stay in this Marriot again. We are Gold Elite Bonvoy members and usually enjoy staying with Marriot so we were greatly disappointed in the comfort and service of this property.

Will never stay again. Beautiful property w/ great restaurants. Staff was attentive but certainly not great. BUT, we stayed in the 3 Muses building in a Loft room and each night the windows shook from the music blasting from the Electric Moon Rooftop Bar (a completely seperate building but still part of the complex). Even with sound machines to drown out some of it, made it really difficult to sleep. Saturday the music didn't stop until 3:30 am. A JW Marriot needs to give some type of notice or warning. Many other guests complained of the same.

View was stunning. Older property but well maintained. We stayed in 2534 (5th floor) and night noise was overwhelming. Noise was not from outside property but event venue above our room. Saturday pm bass from music was thumping in our room. Sunday pm, chairs/tables scooted above us until 2am.

We enjoyed this property so much while staying for the night on our drive to Fla, that we booked to additional nights on the way back home. Sometimes it's the little things: cookies and prosecco on check-in, resort credit to be used at the many dining choices, turn-down service at night and sometimes it's the big things: a dinosaur skull or enormous chunks of glittering gems on display in the lobby or the immense stack from the original power plant preserved and centrally located in the hotel. It's a very unique and interesting property with comfortable rooms, a great staff and perfect location. The one thing I thought the hotel and associated eateries could do better at would be to limit the amount of plastic cups, straws and utensils they used. Seemed everything was served with or in plastic. With this exception, I have nothing but good things to report on for our stay!

1. We stayed in the building directly across from multiple nightclubs. There was very loud music and cars driving down the street with very loud bass until 3:00am. It literally felt like the room was shaking when they drove by. It was impossible to go to sleep. This is not a fault of the hotel but I do think that they should offer a warning on certain rooms regarding the noise level on certain days of the week. Especially when you are paying more for an upgraded room. We definitely would not have chosen to stay there if we knew this about the location. 2. When we checked in we were rushing to get to an event at another location so we asked that our bags be taken to our room. When we arrived to our room at 10:30pm the bags were not there and we had to request them. 3. The valet attendants were great. Unfortunately the text system used to alert them you are ready for your car doesn't allow you to choose your location. The hotel is made up of multiple buildings which we did not know when booking the room. The only restaurant serving breakfast is in the main building so before checking out we took our bags with us to eat there. But when we requested our car it was taken to the building that our room was in even though we originally left it with the attendant in the main building. It was a buys weekend morning so it took quite a while to realize what happened and to get our vehicle.

We absolutely loved our stay here, service was wonderful. Valet parking as well as self parking is available. The hotel has so much to offer including spa, small boutiques, cafe, steakhouse, outdoor bars and food. Many roof top bars. The resort also provides a $38 credit for food daily and $15 boutique credit during your stay. Highly recommend! Everyone was so nice and wonderful to work with!

It is a very pretty and unique building. However,I think for $1,600 for a two-night stay the amenity should have been exceptional. If this is sounding Petty then it is what it is... the welcome packet was an extra $74. You were supposed to get champagne which we did receive, a box of cookies but they were out so we did not get those. I received two dinner tickets I believe was $36 a piece, but absolutely no restaurant would take them. Or at least the 15 that we asked. Upon arriving to the hotel we found out that we were booked in the same hotel so to speak but a block down, so we had to walk with all of our luggage to another building. It took exactly 3 minutes for the hot water to heat up. We could hear the couple in the next room argue for hours! We asked the concierge about the museum, and they looked very confused and said that they didn't know anything about museums. For the price that you pay you expect a certain standard. That standard was not met unfortunately.
