This property was filthy, my room was gross I had to clean and sanitize my room before I could use it. Countertops were peeling away. Bedding was dirty. And all of the furniture was damaged and peeling despite this property being smoke-free my room stunk like cigarette smoke, and there were several burn marks in the counters. I tried making the best out of my situation because of an upcoming snowstorm, the cake topper was when the hotel lost power. It did not have a generator. It was an entire day with no power not even offered a flashlight to find my way around. When I went down to the lobby early in the morning, they had a small generator propped outside the door to have a light for the lobby and to brew coffee. There were Extension cords running through the lobby on the floor which I tripped over on my way out the door. Ridiculous!!! What was supposed to be two days of relaxation ( no kids, no husband, no house to clean) became a nightmare. I think this hotel is more for people that are homeless than it is for people on vacation I would never ever ever stay here again. If your coming to Maine on vacation DO NOT stay here!!!!

The worst experience ever. The hotel initially provided the wrong room, and upon addressing the issue, they informed us that no rooms were ready despite it being past the check-in time. Additionally, there was a strange smell in the room. Although the no-smoking signs in every room, the hallway was filled with a strong smell of weed. The staff's attitude was ok.

The room from HELL
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a half a dozen people smoking by the front door in front of the no smoking signs, including the person working the front desk. After entering the elevator, noticing the inspection was seven months out of date. After arriving back to the room at approximately 9:30 PM the noise from the room above us was nonstop, people running, jumping on the floor to a point that it shook the doors in the room. Tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn’t work in the room. Finally gave up and left at 1:30 AM in the morning.

The room’s lock was unreliable and loose. They did not have the furnishings in the kitchen that they promised. They could not provide a coffee maker for example. It had snowed earlier in the day and the walkways were still covered in slush the following morning. They had a young boy (about 10 or 11 years old) trying to shovel the walkways. In general the staff were friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could.

Patty at the front desk is amazing. She was helpful, thoughtful, i called more than once to confirm information about propery polocy and she was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful both times. When i arrived she greeted me and knowing my daughter had just had surgery and i was alone, offered us help with our bags. Conversely, whomever the young lady was who worked the evening front desk shift insisted she could not accommodate my request for utensils and cups unless I came to the front desk for them. With an child recovering from surgery, and having no second person with us, this caused hardship that felt like a lacking in customer service. The room was worth the price, the bathroom and bed were clean and the property was quiet. The broken elevator was a real inconvenience with my room being on the 3rd floor and it was obviously causing hardship for the housekeeping crew. Having that fixed ASAP should be a top priority for the property. All in all it wasnt a bad stay, perhaps not as convenient or service friendly as it could have been

This place is a crack den with crackheads and prostitutes roaming the halls. Stairwells are filthy (elevator was broken). Staff wouldn’t raise a finger to help you out. Crowds smoking at the door at all hours. Stay away!

Ever employee resided on property. Housekeeping do not know how to clean bath tubs has rings in them. A bit dated and lower class
I stayed here for one night because I wanted to be near my friend's house and also avoid most of the stop lights on Maine Mall Road (it's terrible traffic in December). I was excited to get a room with a fridge. I didn't realize, though, that this type of place would also be popular among those who are temporarily living in extended stay rooms. The quality of these types of people is sketchy. The whole hotel had a bit of a smell to it that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable. The room was large and had a full kitchen which would be very useful. Location is quick access to the Maine Mall area and pretty much anywhere you want to go in Maine. I'd stay here again, but with lower expectations.

We were looking for a safe, clean place to spend the night - no need for extras or anything fancy. Our stay fulfilled that need at a moderate price. However, the facility smells of cigarette smoke even though they state there is a “no smoking” policy. Perhaps it’s because of the many people smoking just outside the lobby door and the smoke blows into the hotel. Also, the free breakfast is just a coffee pot and a few packaged muffins and granola bars with no place to sit. We went out for breakfast. If the need presents, we will consider staying there again.

Read the reviews people. I wish I had before going for the "best price." Walked down the hall, and even though every room had a little sign that was "non-smoking", clearly, people had been smoking. Walked into the room and another smell took over and while it wasn't smoke smell, it wasn't much better. At that point, I realized if my Spouse was with me, we would be exiting the building. Just me, so I can handle it. Then, while watching TV, I kept hearing what seemed to be someone using a coin to tap on a door next to me. Came close to calling the front desk, but just gave it some time. I went to the hotel door and opened it quick to see if I could tell where it was coming from. Guess what? It was the refrigerator. Pulled it out and unplugged it for the night. On the good side, the shower pressure was great! I also got a good night's sleep because evidently, our sense of smell adjusts to things. Anyway, don't do it.

I checked in a little after three p.m. The key I was issued didn't work. I got another one, entered room, it reeked of garlic and the bed wasn't made. I was given another room. There was a jack hammer working outside the room breaking up the entrance to the lobby. I had to go to front desk to get five pillow cases because they weren't made. I went to another hotel.
