I stayed at this hotel several times pre-covid, it was my go to hotel, if I could get in. Although the owners changed shortly before covid, I found it just as pleasant with the new owners and would definitely stay there again

Great property with wonderful host. Parking was available on street or in drive way. Great breakfast in the next morning. Had a sea view which, despite being the small room at the top, included the beach as well as a view of the Scarborough castle ruins. Only hitch was the weather, which is clearly no responsibility of the host ;-)

The owner was outstanding. She went out of her way to please her guests and always had a smile. The breakfast was always good with a very choice of options. I believe her name was Joanna but I apologize if I have it wrong.

Booked this hotel as a last minute break . We were able to park off road in front of hotel which was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice tea and coffee making facilities. Spotlessly clean bathroom. A little road noise but it didn't keep me awake. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. I would stay again.

The guest house has good views over North Bay. Room 8 was top floor and expect 9 and 5/6 also have good views. Breakfast is served only until 0915 but the host was very accommodating. Parking on the forecourt is suitable for four cars. Breakfast was hearty. Tea and coffee in the rooms. Windows that open. Wifi worked well.

Great Find in Scarborough
Just got back from a two night stay to attend a concert at the Open Air Theatre. I have stayed in numerous B&B'sb9n Scarborough over the years but this was a great little find, clean, comfortable and in a great location, to add to that the breakfast was absolutely spot on, I got in the small car park but if you cant get in there is loads of street parking directly outside and you can get a parking pass from the hotel. Very comfortable bed and the room also had a fridge and good WiFi signal. Its definitely the one ill be trying to rebook the next time im in town

Fab stay at the Leeway!
This is a delightful little place, I stayed for two nights in Room 5 which is a lovely single room with a fabulous sea view. The room was spotless on arrival, with everything you could need, there’s a little fridge which had water and milk in (bless!), tea / coffee making facilities, plenty of storage space, lovely bathroom. It’s worth the money for the sea view alone! The owner Zsuzsanna was so lovely, treated all the guests with the best customer service you could ask for, so professional and friendly. The cooked breakfast was very tasty! You can park on the drive of the hotel which is fine if you don’t want to use your car while you are staying there as you could be blocked in, I parked on the road directly opposite, plenty of spaces even a short walk down the hill, ask the owner for a “disc pass” for the duration of your stay, I just left my car there. The hotel is perfectly central to either North Bay / town centre / Castle , all about 10 minutes walk away, the hills in Scarborough are very tiring, so there are shed loads of benches to have a well earned rest and admire the beautiful views.

From the time I checked in until my departure I was made to feel very welcomed. My room was perfect. I had a sea view which was a great way of relaxing after a busy day. Indeed, it was great to wake up to. The whole hotel is clean, homely and tastefully decorated. Breakfast had an excellent menu. All was home cooked. Scrambled, poached and fried eggs were perfect. The only improvement I would suggest is that there be a 'help yourself' table for juices, yoghurts, fruit and cereals. The cooked food orders could be taken when you first sit at your table.
