We needed to use the car to and from the property but for normal we could have parked up and accessed everything we needed on foot. 'Greet house in a quiet location near to Scalby Mills and North Bay. Communication with owners was excellent, internet was good too.'

'The quality of the property is excellent. Sofas and bedding very good quality. Great location, 5 mins walk to park and carpark and 10 mins to beach. Couple of little extras would have made it even better such as speaker to connect phone to for music, oven gloves and car parking permits. We made a full Xmas dinner for 12 and all fit comfortably in the property. Communication very good.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Watchhouse. The location is brilliant, as both the North & South bays are in walking distance. The property is furnished to a high standard and it was great having 3 bathrooms for our family of 5! Also unusual to get an outdoor garden space so close to the coast. The property wouldn’t be ideal for people with mobility issues as there are a number of steps to access the house & rooms, which we did have some challenges with for our 1 year old-but the host provided...

'It was in a perfect location only 10 minutes walk from the sea-front and the Town,There was a pub either side of us,and a shop just round the corner,perfect location really,The owners were just next door but we never needed them,There was also a parking area.Couldn't have asked for more really.'
