'Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. 'We were in town for a tournament at In the Net and this was exactly what we needed. It was a short drive (~18 min) on beautiful scenic roads to the games. Little house on Lincoln was comfortable and peaceful when we wanted to be away from the high energy of competitive sports. Everything you could need was on site and the host was so easy to reach. The noise from trucks noted in other reviews is accurate AND we just used some while noise to drown it out a bit. It was better than slamming hotel...

The weather put a damper on our visit but we were still able to enjoy the peace and the views around the home. The kids had their pony rides and we were able to meet all the horses they have saved. 'Three ladies stayed while attending the Lancaster Quilt Show. Plenty of room to sew in the evening. On street parking was not a problem. You may want to add a curtain on the bathroom window or frost the window. Also wider curtains on the windows.'
