Hi thanks for heads up (we have Truly Nolan, our pest control company, for all our homes there on a quarterly basis). But the field mice, even squirrels, come from surrounding area and do look for warm spots this time of year, like by the garage (most homes will get one in garage every so often anywhere in US) and we'll alert Truly Nolan since they come out for spot treatment services. And indeed in desert Southwest when sticky, gooey, sugary foods are left out the ants are adept at seeking them out (regardless of service provider). We'll also alert the cleaning team--we keep 2 companies so they sort of compete with each other for our homes and order up a new coffee pot. Thanks so much again. Jeff & Eli

Thanks so much again for staying, even though there are a lot of misrepresentation above. In fact, there was no charge at all for pool/spa gas heating to you all, i.e., $0. You indicated this was acceptable since the night your arrived the spa automated/motorized valve-lever failed. The next morning the pool company arrived and replaced it with a motorized valve we had from another home so you had immediate use of it the next day (even though they had back-ordered a 'new' valve that came in a couple of a day later). So truly the spa was only out of commission the first night. Regardless, you seemed more upset about getting into Sedona with the snow and roads--the greater Southwest was hit with worst weather, i.e., snows, that have been hit there in 40 years with 3+ feet of snow. It was once in century events and we couldn't control that. Usually in Sedona we only get occasional gentle sprinkles of 1" or so snow in winter months. Also the house is indeed "in" Sedona proper with a Sedona address and zip code (there are 3 areas of Sedona and the home is in the southern area next to Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock--the two most hiked and photographed areas of Sedona, which is about 8 miles from the "downtown" area of Sedona, or about 10 minutes, if that's what you're referring to). Most folks don't truly want to stay in the downtown area. Lastly we don't 'hold' a deposit and in fact there is no 'damage deposit' so that too is a misrepresentation - so technically there is no way to 'lose' a deposit, nor did you or your group. The home is easily one of the best priced "pool/spa" homes in all of Sedona, actually half the price of many others. In any case, we know you all were very distraught over the weather consequences and we apologize. We did our best to ameliorate given the once-in-century weather events.

NazirThank you for staying and I know your trip from Middle East was difficult coming in on Labor Day Holiday and you appeared highly distraught by the road closures that unexpectedly came up on the I-17. However, the guest towel rack was absolutely not broken as you misrepresent (it was loose on wall) and the toilet roll holder had fallen from the guests that had checked out that morning. Things sometimes happen at 2nd homes. But you vehemently demanded they be fixed and we had a handyman on call (on Labor Day) who was perplexed that he had to come out on his family holiday to tighten the towel rack and secure the guest toilet roll holder as you point out. He said you treated him curt and gruffly and he quickly got back to his family. But we're one of the very few (if not "only") VRBO home in Sedona that has a handyman that will accommodate our guests on a holiday (I don't know of another home that does and you counted that against us as opposed to making it a great "positive".). The pool company had put in additional chlorine for the holiday weekend so the standard chlorine aroma was higher as you point out, and further, the carpets are all new (previous guests may have stained them slightly but you never mentioned that so I'm only guessing.) The cleaners did re-caulk the corner of the one shower at your request. And blinds and digital TVs are standard (I think between 27" and 36" but I'd have to check).
