Hi Tracy-Thanks for coming in from NY, enjoying the stay and commenting the house was beautiful. However, in summer months (indeed August) Sedona and SW are hit with afternoon "monsoons" (massive thunderstorms, almost like hurricanes) and even late afternoon high dry-desert winds, dust/sand-devils (i.e., desert tornadoes) . For this reason, we are the only "home" in Sedona that has ALL our 5 homes with pools serviced "twice" a week (other homes do it only "once" a week, and you can ask them). So we go above and beyond servicing call. But if folks are expecting a pool to be serviced every single day (we encourage them to please stay at one of the hotels where they have a 7-day a week pool staff and lifeguard and it's serviced each morning and not a private home. It's the reality and trade-off of a private home versus a 7-day week hotel). We keep skimmer nets at the homes so folks can skim out leaves etc. that get blown into the pool in these high-desert wind conditions -- but frankly we've seen the hotels even have a tough time keep up with that. We do keep a "pool vacuum" in the bottom of the pools that stays in there 7/24 -- but sometimes folks (l know like you all did) take it out for aesthetic reasons -- but once it gets pulled out, it no longer serves it function and vacs the bottom the pool. So again a trade-off. Lastly the spa/hot tub automatically "fills" by auto-schedule once a day through auto-valves. Thanks so much again, Jeff & Eli

December is end of season and we start swapping out all of the year's stuff in house for the next season. As for couches cleaners, nor us, nor 3 sets of guests afterwards could find any aromas, you suggest, from the couches (perhaps someone there in your group had an issue and they took care of it??). Regardless, since this review won't go away, we purchased a $6.5k new family room suite effective 2023 which was delivered and installed at the home. One bathroom sink was found to be clogged by your group and a plumber had pumped it out quickly (no other clogs). A faucet had a very slow drip and indeed he tightened that also. Christina - Thanks so much and thanks for having a wonderful stay as you put it. The issue of what kind of couches etc to get for our rental homes is always a tough one. More often than not (for example at this house if you scroll through the reviews) is that most folks consider them "too soft" in the reviews. But do appreciate you believing they might be too firm. Even my wife Eli and I disagree on this point when we're buying couches and beds for our own personal home (she likes them firmer and I like them softer. My guess is that it's an endless debate but input is definitely appreciated). All the best, Jeff & Eli

Hi - thanks so much for having a great stay and a great review. No one mentioned to us about the master sheets or towels? We have two cleaning services we use at all our homes (to keep them competing against each other for optimal service). I'll forward this to them -- but we've never heard of this happening before. As for the "app", we don't have an "app" so I'm not sure what that is refering to. All our guests have our phone number through the House Instructions and guest always call us directly to get any clarificaitons needed so that there is no miscommunication and there are spa (and pool) instructions at the house on the counter. Hi Melissa - thank you so much again for staying and enjoying yourselves and having a great stay. Having sleeper sofas in the living room is indeed a challenge (doesn't matter what model you purchase they're not built with 'firm' under carriages to make them like normal sofas. But we'll try looking around for other models. But it's a trade off for those that want sleeper sofas for kids etc.). Thanks so much again, Jeff & Eli
