'Very nice place and a hostess who's about as helpful and nice as they come. We stayed for 2 weeks. Found it a bit cramped for 2 adults and 2 cocker spaniels for that extended period. We knew it was small to beigin with so that's our fault. It would've been fine for shorter periods. Cabin and grounds were immaculate. We could've eaten off the floor. Great boat docking space. Yard is large so if you have a dog you can take them out to play. Cabin and host easily deserve 5 star rating. We'd stay...

'The space was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The unit has such character and a unique design. The bathroom is a little small but is a great use of space. Due to the historic qualities of the house the ceilings are low for tall folks over about 6'2". The host was also just as cheerful and charming!'

'For our 50th Class Reunion, the Henry House was perfect. Debra was an ideal host. She let us check in early and made certain all was to our liking. The ambiance of the house was so peaceful. My husband said there was a sweet spirit in this house, and there was. I particularly loved the way Debra stayed true to the character of the original home. We loved it and will come again!'

'My 3 adult children and I booked the cabin for my husband's 70th birthday. We went fishing in four different locations. No one caught anything. My husband said that was not important.....the important thing was that we were together and had created a special memory. We enjoyed each other's company as well as the cabin. My husband enjoyed the peace and quiet. This was my second visit. I am looking forward to a third visit. My husband is talking about going back. Thank you so very much to our host...

'We love this house - it would be perfect to retire in. It was very clean and the location was close to everything! We loved being able to park our boat in the dock in the backyard. 'This house was perfect for our family! We were in town for a wedding at Pine Hill Plantation. Your house location was ideal. Your house is decorated to give off such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is not only adorable but also wonderfully appointed to accommodate your guests’ needs. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit pad were great for relaxing with family and also enjoying the lake view. Your house is a perfect place for a family to enjoy each other and the beauty of the lake.'

'We normally do not complain about anything but since the owner messaged me accusing me of a small hole that was there when we got there along with other holes there.When we first walked through the door there was an empty Dr pepper can on the shelf to the left,the floors were dirty with dirt and sand(had to sweep the floors to walk barefooted comfortably) The cabinet and counter top the left of the stove was full of ants.
