A typical Spanish type property .Small in size but lots of character. It was a do it yourself breakfast property which appealed to us.Also a 2-3 minute walk to both the cathedral & Alcazar palace.Only negative was the bath towels we're on the small size. Yes i would stay again if visiting Seville.

This has been my favorite place that I have stayed in Spain. The room was clean and lovely, I chose a room with a balcony. The breakfast was delicious and everyone was lovely and accommodating

Great Location
Excellent location but there's a price to pay. This was not an easy place to find nor to access upon arrival. Parking was 11 minutes away by car but only 3-4 minutes walking. It was a very frustrating experience, but the location was great. The host was never there during our stay, which was disappointing. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. You had to ask for juice, croissant and yogurt otherwise you'd be left sitting with your cup of coffee and hopefully eventually they'd come and ask what you'd like. Usually in other B&Bs they offer you choices or there's a spread. This was not the case here. With that being said I probably would stay there if I visited again because of the location and now I'd know what to expect.

Little Gem in a beautiful city
Alcazar de Maria is an absolute little Gem in the middle of a beautiful city. It was everything we needed for our weekend trip. Great location attentive host, clean and comfortable accommodation.

Rapport qualité/prix très correct.
Les explications etaient bien détaillées pour entrer seuls dans l'hôtel l'après-midi. Maria, notre hôte, est tres aimable. Les petits dejeuners sont très bien. Le seul bémol est que nous avons eu froid. Maria m'a expliqué le lendemain matin qu'il y avait des couvertures dans le local au fond de la cuisine, mais je ne me suis absolument pas permis de fouiller partout... Cependant, la prestation etait très correcte dans son ensemble au vu du prix demandé.

Très beau B&B, très bien situé (deux pas de la Cathédrale de Séville). Maria et son équipe, des perles de gentillesse ! Seul point négatif : salle de bain minuscule (homme de 6p2). Je recommande fortement pour un court séjour !

Lovely one night stay
Lovely small hotel in an amazing location very close to the alcazar and cathedral. Given detailed check in instructions to use a key box if arriving later on in the day which were very easy to follow. The room was lovely and there were several communal sitting areas for guests to use along. We were expecting breakfast to be self service but were pleasantly surprised to meet Maria, who was so friendly, and have her and another lady make and serve us a lovely breakfast of omelette followed by chocolate cake along with drinks. Maria was kind enough to allow us to leave our bags as we weren’t leaving for the airport until the evening- thank you! Would stay again if back in Seville!

Such an amazing little bed and breakfast! Our host Maria was so lovely. Room was great, AC worked well. This is mostly a "walk to" property right next to the Alcazar. We were able to drive close just to drop off luggage then parked (not too far away). Lots of places to eat. Lots of places to walk to. Amazing stay! Thank you Eva Maria!!

Wir sind ausserhalb der offiziellen Check-in-Zeit angekommen. Dank den Instruktionen, die wir vorab per E-Mail erhalten haben, hat alles super geklappt. Unterkunft im Zentrum. Wir haben unser Auto ausserhalb auf einem öffentlichen, kostenlosen Parkplatz abgestellt und gingen zu fuss ins Zentrum. Das Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Maria haben wir beim Frühstück kennengelernt. Sie ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft empfehlen wir gerne weiter. Danke

Pleasant but some minor things
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. This was our second time, and we have to admit the first time was better. The room was lovely and the hotel smelled very good. As for the minor things… We were on the top floor so lugging suitcases up the stairs wasn’t ideal but mostly, the wifi did not reach our room (room 7), so we had to sit on the couch on the second floor to contact family via Whatsapp. We also had to call to receive the instructions (and use data) on how to get into the building as we did not arrive when workers were there. That being said, the overall experience was nice and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast selection was great. You can also hear the horses clopping by which adds to the aesthetic of the hotel. For a two night stay, it was nice.

The property is well located and clean. However if you have a scent sensitivity it’s not for you (plug in fragrance everywhere). And although we are self sufficient, we did not see the owners at all. Instructions were left to get in autonomously. And strange construction noises at 2 am for 30-40 minutes- pretty loud - woke us up.

We stayed for 1 night in early April. What a horrible experience. This property is advertised as smoke free, however it is a lie. They allow people to smoke on the third floor and the smoke spreads out through out the place. We had trouble breathing the whole time. Also, there are cockroaches everywhere! They fall from the ceiling and we found one in the bed! We reported this to women that come clean the place and they informed their management. Our request for a refund was rejected. Stay away from this disgusting hotel.
