This property is a two-story "tiny house" in a beautiful wooded setting about 8 minutes north of Seward. The house was very clean, communication/check-in was a breeze, and we enjoyed the space thoroughly. Don't expect any room downstairs--as the photo suggests, the bed takes up almost all of the downstairs space with just enough room to walk around it. Upstairs has ample living space and the lovely porch.
In fact, the photos really undersell the beauty of this location. While technically in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Seward, this is really a mostly forested rural location, right next to a river, surrounded by huge, stunning peaks and glaciers. The upstairs porch gives you an unobstructed view of almost all of it. We saw bald eagles regularly.
I have only two small suggestions for the host: 1) for the bright nights of the summer months, blackout curtains really are a necessity on the two sliding glass doors and big upstairs window; 2) some dish towels would be nice.
You can't go wrong with this sweet rental.
