Hotels met sauna in Shanghai

'Verblijf was perfect. Maar wat een tegenvaller bij thuiskomt en ik mijn mail open met een bericht van The Puli. Ben wel bijzonder ontstemd, en dan zeg ik het netjes, dat ik vandaag een mail ontvang van The Puli met de mededeling dat ik een vaas in mijn kamer kapot gemaakt zou hebben. Schandalig werkelijk. Ik heb de kamer in perfecte staat achter gelaten. Er zat zelfs een foto bij! Als iemand dit gedaan heeft dan moet het personeel zijn of een nieuwe gast op de kamer. Dit is voor mij aanleiding...

'Love the location of this hotel! It’s a short 3mins walk to Nanjing Road and the Metro Station. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My family and I have nothing but praises for this hotel! Kudos to the staff who have rendered excellent customer service and full of initiative! Will definitely return when I go to Shanghai.'

'Overal speaking, it was a very pleasant stay. Staffs were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The location is very close to metro. The shortcomings were: 1. the room has indeed a city view, but my room could see part of the roof of this hotel, which was very dirty, rusty and disgusting to be honest. A high end hotel like this should do better! 2. the sound isolation of the room was poor. I could hear people talking in the hallway late at night. 3. No coffee...

'Staff (lobby, reception, conciërge) speaks little to no English. City is too big; overwhelming! Walk around the hotel when you first arrive, and check the surroundings from the rooftop view, to get some understanding on where you are, all four sides! Never leave without the hotel business card in Chinese. Even then quite difficult to get a taxi to return you to 'my residence in Shanghai'. (as it's called on the business card, in characters too, obviously) '

'Dissapointed in different ways: 1) no free internet. For a hotel which advertises itself as a business hotel, it is weird that you have to pay for such a basic thing. Then on top, if you want to use wireless, you also have to pay extra for that! 2) small room with very impractical design, a table with a sharp poing which cuts in the middle of the room is not very handy, especially at night. 3) the lobby had a terrible draught. People were sitting with coats on to have a drink. I know the...
