'We found this Ruston cottage to be clean, inviting and stocked with everything a person (or their dog) could need, again! This was our 2nd time renting this cute little house and last time was our very 1st vacation rental by owner, of any sort. We've rented several in the past year and I can now say, with some authority, this one is top notch!! Easy and accommodating communication with Nora. 'We stayed here last August and we had a blast. The view is awesome, the oysters were fab. The house is small but was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Just perfect. Highly recommend the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, few miles up north. We hope to visit again!'

'Our family couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay in the waterfront cottage! It was nicely kept, clean, and cozy! We bought steak at a nearby grocery store and used the grill out in the balcony! It was very easy to use and the steak was cooked to perfection! I love how the whole place receives so much natural lighting and the place was very well maintained and decorated. The host was very kind and helpful front start to finish.'

'Two weeks at this nice property. Even with the rain we had it was snug. Enough beautiful days to feel how lovely this area is. Close enough to Key Center for groceries, hreat Mexican restaurant in Home, nice beach state park at Joemma park. Very nice stay.'

'This property is probably the best VRBO property I have experienced (and I use VRBO a lot). This house is stocked amazingly and so clean and cozy. The pictures are good but wait til you see it in person! The owner is so generous and excellent communication. We had such a relaxing, fun, comfortable (beds and bedding are amazing!) and we will be back!'

'Loved this cottage! Highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to hunker down and chill out steps from the Pt Defiance - Vashon ferry. Beautiful views of the sound and the outdoor spaces are amazing. Comfy chairs throughout for relaxing while looking at the water. My only warning would be to those who can’t handle stairs as there are 2 flights to the front door and then multiple flights to the various decks. The host is super helpful and friendly and we had a great time.'

'We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year .'
