'My husband and I and two other couples have been planning a trip to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail for years and we finally made it happen! Casa Omara was the perfect spot to come “home” to after a long day of distillery tours, Slugger Museum tour and Churchill Downs tour. Casa Omara is unique and has so much history and character. 'Great location, close to Louisville but in a small, walk/bike friendly area with a beautiful river view.'

'Very first Sisters Weekend. 3 of us in late 50s/early 60s. A half mile walk to so many restaurants! Quiet neighborhood filled with beautiful tree lined streets completely safe to take early morning runs. A 15 minute Uber ride to all the sights and sounds of downtown Louisville. Our hostess, Karen, communicated wonderfully well, offered restaurant suggestions, and helpful tips. Beds delightfully comfortable, towels were large and luscious. Kitchen has a coffee maker which was welcome for lazy...

'Beautiful house. We came down to do a few distillery tours but also to spend a lot of time board gaming. This was a great location that gave us everything we needed, was walkable to a lot of great food options, and was an easy rideshare to our tour locations. The only real negative was minor, which is that the HVAC is pretty loud if you happen to be staying in the bedroom on the top level.'

'Cool place, the hat selection and photo ops were a good time, host was really easy to work with. It would be nice if there was a sheet somewhere with info, like wifi, what you want done with towels, bedding, etc. I hope we did a good job since we really weren't sure 😃'

'The stay was very enjoyable. The condo was beautiful! It was like walking into a HGTV show. The owner supplied all our needs for the stay except our personal items and food. The neighborhood was exceptional and quaint. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed each night!'

'The VRBO was more than I expected. It was emaculate and very homey. Our host Dana was excellent. She gave us suggestions on dinner places that were awesome. 'Checking in the credit card they used didn’t work and I was asked to pay myself after I had already paid. I messaged through vrbo…which came up leavetown instead of vrbo…. But they called the front desk and it was straightened out. It was difficult to be put in that position at the end of a long drive. I would recommend contacting the property directly. It was a great stay with comfortable beds, outdoor pool, fridge, dishwasher, stove and kitchenette supplies. I would stay again.'

'Nice hotel with nice clean spacious rooms. Mildly disappointed in the check-in process. Signs on the door directed to an office across the street at another hotel that they no longer have an office in. The room wasn’t stocked with spare blankets either. Even with those two minor issues, the hotel was great. Plenty of amenities in the room. Great location and reasonable prices. '
