This hotel is located in the perfect center of town. Easily accessible to restaurants, shops, and transportation like the train, bus, and marina ferries and private boats. Our room was very tiny and dusty, however the entrance to the hotel is spotless. The walls are very thin, and depending on the guests sleeping next door it may or may not be a big deal. Overall, the perfect central location made it fun for us to travel all along the Amalfi coast and even jump on a train to Rome, and take a ferry to Capri and Naples. It was a very safe hotel to come back to from a long day of wandering and because of that we would stay here again.

Location was convenient and central to sights. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good as well as the dinner menu was great too. I would recommend this hotel as a top stay.

Hotel in ottima posizione ma servizi scadenti. Nel 2024 non si può lasciare un TV 20 pollici che per vederla ci vorrebbe un cannocchiale. Colazione scadente per qualità dei prodotti e varietà degli stessi. Al massimo, sforzandosi, può essere considerato un 3 stelle.

Would Stay there Again
Delightful hotel in the midst of shops, restaurants, and more. Close to Piazza Sant’ Antonio and easy walk to Piazza Tasso. Staff excellent and went out of their way to help locate a driver to Naples airport when other arrangements fell through. Would stay there again.

The breakfasts were great. The balcony was delightful. When a railroad strike changed our plans , staff helped us find transportation to our next destination. The location was close to everything in town.

We were very impressed with the property in general. The room was amazing. We have two balconies!! The shops are right below us but mouse is not an issue at all The breakfast is very nice and we are more than happy we chose to stay here! I would gladly stay here again!!

Amazing hotel to stay at. Great location. Very very clean. The staff including Rachele and the front desk staff were wonderful and would do anything for you. Would definately stay there again if I go back to Sorrento.

The hotel was in a great position, right in the centre of the town. Had a small pool which was great for a cool off dip. The garden was a sanctuary, quiet through right in the centre. The set meals were good and enjoyable with some live music. Our air con rattled into the night but that was the only niggle as they could not fix it. Staff friendly and always ready with a smile and handshake.

Great hotel to stay in Sorrento near to restauranta and shops. The breakfast was also very good. and the personal were always friendly and attentive. What we most liked: the hotel has a lot of employees with disabilities. First time I saw this and this showed me management is very conscious of inclusiveness. Small opportunity for improvement: Tell housekeeping personell to clean or change the dirty coffee mugs.

Excellent location. We were very pleased with how extensive the breakfast was. Hotel was clean and staff has very accommodating. Beautiful garden area for dinner or drinks.

Séjour agréable
Hôtel très bien situé, en plein cœur de la ville. Le personnel était à l’écoute. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Seul inconvénient le parking recommandé par l’hôtel est très contraignant car ils prennent notre voiture pour la déposer eux même sur un parking qui nous ai inconnu. Nous devons les prévenir pour récupérer notre voiture, de ce fait un soir nous avons attendus 1h dans la rue pour qu’il arrive prendre notre voiture.

Great hotel but noisy
A great hotel in the heart of Sorrento. Lovely and clean and helpful staff. The terrace and small pool was a real positive, especially as it costs $30 a sunbed by the sea. But please note it is very noisy at night. The tiled floors echo and the walls are thin. Another word of caution - on the 1st night we were put in what can only be described as a cupboard (room 124) Of course rooms are small but this was tiny and the aircon did not work and no balcony as described on the details. The staff were really nice and moved us but this room should be at a discount.

While the rooms are somewhat dated appearance wise, the ac in both of our rooms was very good, and needed! The hotel is in a great location and only 5 mins walk from the elevator to the beach / port. Breakfast that was included had plentiful options. The front desk staff are so helpful and provided me with lots of local info that helped make our vacation in Sorrento special!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Astoria Sorrento. It's in a great location, right in the center of town with a multitude of restaurants and shopping just steps away. The hotel was very clean, with a very nice lobby. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have balconies overlooking a pretty outdoor garden/bar area. Great place!

We enjoyed our stay here. Our garden view room was nice but a bit on the smaller side. They had a wall mounted hair dryer which was very hard to use and it did not get that hot. The shower was nice and water pressure was very good! They had a nice breakfast buffet. We would stay here again. The only downside for us was we were located close to the elevator and the hallway floor is tile so heard lots of noise as people were coming and going.

Hotel has a great location, close to all the major attractions. It was very clean and proper except for the room at times smelled like chlorine every time we would walk in. The walls were very thin, you can hear every thing such as conversations in the other room and toilet flushing.

The overall stay was very nice. Great location and morning breakfast was a nice benefit. Rooms were much smaller than expected. One of the rooms the a/c did not work very well. Bugs were bad in the courtyard in the evening.
