'This cottage isn't fancy but it has 4 bedrooms with lots of sleeping spaces, two tables for eating (or one for eating and one for playing board games!) and a nice outdoor patio area. We love the deep water dock and peacefulness of this part of Lake Gaston.'

'If you read and loved the description of this place, you will, indeed, love this place. It's exactly what's advertised and it has been the perfect getaway for my husband and me twice now. Its a gorgeous location with ample fishing, reading, lazing opportunities. The cabin is adorable, the bed is comfy, the fire pit is awesome! There's so much to love about this place. We will be back every time we get the opportunity.'

'Rented this lakefront property from July 1 - July 5. Good: owner rented for less than a week at a reasonable price / Lake view / dock / kayaks & canoe / relatively flat lot / plenty of parking / propane in bottle for grill. Bad: front porch handrails rotted and loose / mouse droppings on counter, in cabinets, and on top of two beds / not very clean inside / outside grill / side deck not usable (rotted and mildewed) / wood walkway to lake had screws sticking out (pointed end) / ladder on dock...

'Nice home that has been updated. Although on the smaller side, the layout made it feel much larger. Having ping pong and mortal combat in the basement was an added bonus the 4 teenage boys loved! Steps from the house to the dock are very steep, you will get a workout!'

'We were in the area for a music party at the George Winn Camp Ground so the cottage was mostly a place to sleep off the ground. However, the first encounter at the cottage was with Gavin as he stomped over to us and proceeded to pitch a fit because we had brought along a friend to the cottage to have dinner with us. The home is full of natural light, spacious and cozy providing a wonderful place for our group-15 ladies this year. The two living rooms and several decks provide great places to be inspired. 'The house was perfect we was in town for a fishing trip. The house had accesss to the lake with a dock to park a boat at. The hows was clean and easy check in process. Loved the stay and will rebook in the future.'
