Sadly, despite being the most expensive hotel in the area they now charge nearly £17 per day for on site parking for hotel guests. Very disappointing. No black out blinds in room!

Loud phone ringing in the middle of the night, woke me and my partner up at 3am, neither of us could sleep then. No hot water in the bathroom sink and the Smart TV did not work. When we contacted them they said they will come up and fix the issues but we were too tired by then. When I spoke with a manager in the morning, they said they couldn’t offer and compensation and someone will contact me the next day regarding this and they haven’t.

Lovely hotel
Lovely stay, rooms not ready @10am not an issue as check out is 11am which is nice, but left bags, and they called us and put bags in the room when it was ready. Met our needs to be next door to each other. Bed very high up if you’re short or have disability so check, tea coffee water biscuits mini bar dressing gown slipppers iron hair dryer shampoo conditioner. Room 217/219 lovely view (king bed) £10 approx in taxi from the Southampton station(10/15 mins) and £7 approx to west key(standard shops some bar/resturants) The ‘town centre’ is run down (no bars) a little rough. Restaurants 5 minutes away from the Hotel if you don’t fancy squid's bolognese.(yuk) there’s an Asian one, also the Olive Tree(lovely), Banana /sport bar restaurant, Pitch any Piano.The Hotel restaurant food was too fussy for us ‘main course’ wise, but breakfast was delish, bar lovely, spa lovely (could do with little lockers) had a facial, lady was lovely. Reception nice( a little stiff ) , spoke a little fast, to try and take in the information) but helpful. Would I stay again yes, however no need to go back, but would recommend.

We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a Studio Suite on arrival. Everything about the Hotel was great and would definitely stay again. Only thing I would say is check the Location if Shopping is on your agenda as it is a little outside a comfortable distance from the Centre or West Quay. Other than that Hotel is faultless.

Great hotel but don't choose the balcony rooms.
Excellent hotel with marvellous service. But I made the mistake of choosing a room with a balcony. Lovely room, great views from the really nice balcony but all balcony rooms are on the fifth floor and a restaurant and bar is on the sixth! Sadly this has a solid floor with movable tables and chairs. Since they also play music up there during the evening getting to sleep can be difficult until very late evening.

Fantastic stay two nights in quiet comfort Staff are extremely professional and very friendly. Check in/check out was a breeze. We had dinner in HarBar one night. Excellent food and service. Gym was great. Highly recommend
