'It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again '

'Leuk huisje. Misschien niet zo geschikt voor 7 nachten. Er is veel verkeer en dat begint op den duur wel vervelend te worden. Ook de stalling van de veerboten achter het huisje was wat storend. 2 handdoeken voor 7 nachten vonden we wel wat weinig... Het servies in de kastjes was best wel groezelig. Het huisje is lekker ruim met een woonkeuken een woon/eetkamer en een slaap kamer. Schitterend uitzicht door de ramen. Er was een klein zitje buiten op de pier. Met een aardig uitzicht.'

'As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.'

'Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.'

'I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.'

'Met all expectations. Unbeatable view. Great, enclosed area for dogs. Good quality (and number of) bathrooms. 3 in all. Hot tub was a bonus. Initially dubious all 6 of us (adults) would fit in comfortably - but we did! Wonderful find.'

'A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!'

'The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. '

'De omgeving van de cabin is prachtig. Heel rustig, super groen en je kan er prachtige wandelingen maken. In Dalavich zit een schattig mini winkeltje waar je ook heerlijke koffie kan drinken en lunch en pizza kan eten. De cabin viel echter wat tegen, de matrassen waren ontzettend hard en oncomfortabel. De wc en badkamer waren helaas niet heel schoon en er hing een onfrisse geur in de cabin. We hebben al vaker in dit soort cabins geslapen, maar deze was toch minder dan dat we verwacht hadden. De...

'Vlak voor onze aankomst kregen wij bericht dat de schoonmaakster die ochtend door een ongeluk niet kon komen. We hebben toen zelf schoongemaakt. De eigenaar heeft ons daarvoor 50 pounds terugbetaald. Vandaar de matige score bij "netheid" De woning is mooi groot en gelegen op de 1e etage met een moderne keuken en drie slaapkamers met prima bedden. Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer en slaapkamers is prachtig. De woning ligt vlak bijzet centrum van Rothesay, de grootste plaats op Bute. Dat eiland is...

'We loved the stay at Patricia's house and enjoyed the scenic view from the house. Near small town Furnace and Invereray. Recommended!'

'Stayed in the lodge- you pay for the hot tub and the setting. The accommodation is dated and cramped with little amenities especially in the kitchen-broken utensils etc. Feel the price warrants a little bit of a higher standard. Restaurant on main hotel serves great seafood. Just don’t expect the lodge accommodation to match the outdoor facilities!'

'The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.'

'Prima hotel voor de prijs die je moet betalen. Parkeren voor motoren is wat lastig. Wij waren met de motor en hebben de motoren maar dicht tegen de muur geparkeerd. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. '
