'We stayed in the south building and it seemed newly renovated. Love the “beach” Colors in the room along with the small kitchenette and the double bathroom sink (with one outside the toilet area). Very clean, staff were attentive, beach was terrific! Location was very good too. My only suggestion - there is a $40/day resort fee. That SHOULD include beach chairs or the use of bikes. While I appreciated the ability to park and the other small perks included in the fee - most of those are standard...

'Host was very communicative and check-in was easy. The space over the garage is nicely finished and the small kitchen area is adequate for a short stay. Not a fan of the barn door for the bathroom, because it doesn’t provide enough privacy. Would be nice to have bath soap provided. Overall, a good value.'

'Really great house: comfortable, clean, spacious! The only thing that was a bit annoying is that the porch is not covered and we were literally covered with the foliage from all the surrounding trees. Therefore, we couldn’t use the porch for eating, which was such a pity as we wanted to fully enjoy the nature and the wonderful weather. But, again, the house is great and really well maintained. '

'Cottages are Close enough to everything but definitely would want to drive and use the public parking lot for beach access. Our unit was clean, nice (but dated) definitely felt for the price it should have had more updated decor. We did enjoy the community though and the location to the pool was great! Would stay again.'

'Overall this was a sweet, well decorated duplex home close to a beach and historic Beaufort. We enjoyed the nearby boardwalk to the Cypress Wetlands bird sanctuary. The home was appointed with everything we needed including comfy beds. The area is full of interesting history and beauty!'

'We really enjoyed our return to L'Auvent and it was even better the second time which is hard to believe.Super clean and sophisticated. Excellent communication as always. Hopefully we will be returning soon as we love this place and this town. Southern coney for pancakes, Nectar chicken waffles, Relish Mongolian beef and wonton soup all an easy bike ride away. not to mention the beach and Coligny shopping a block away. 5+ star stay.'
