Dangerous, disgustingly filthy, and uncomfortable.
Came in with an open mind to a room with the smoke detector pulled off (wires still dangling) and missing, a huge hole in the wall, mold in the bathroom on the wall behind the sink, a broken toilet seat and broken off handle in a bathroom that had an exhaust fan dangling from the ceiling by one screw so dirty that I could hardly see the metal of the screen.
In fact, the only thing I could see were exposed electrical wires directly above the shower which had pubic hairs in it . The mirror was broken and the cabinet has strips of wood hanging off. A single mustard colored scratchy army style blanket with cigarette burns on a squeaky metal bed.
We’d reserved a two bed studio, but was told at check in that it wasn't available. Instead, they offered us two rooms with one bed each. I would have had to sleep in a separate room from my husband. Not what we had been looking forward to and the area was too sketchy to feel safe.
There were people who appeared to be facing homelessness relieving themselves in the stair well and the hallways were littered with trash.
I took pictures because it was so hard to believe how bad it was. I’d be more than happy to provide them.
