'Sorry, but this hotel was shambolic. The balcony was nice and had a nice and certainly view over Skiathos but everything else was derelict. Usually I appreciate that one gets what one pays for, but what I was charged by Expedia for this derelict and rather dirty property was outrageous. Some may appreciate the noisy neighborhood as authentic but in my case it just added to the disappointment. '

'Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean.'

It has probably the best view over the sea and we saw some incredible sunrises over Skopelos.Katerina is such a warm and kind person that we constantly felt well an comfortable. 'A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. '

'Very nice family operated villa. They have a hotel in town which is top of many lists. I am working in Greece on a Digital Nomad visa and have a small dog, so preferred this country location. Very close to beaches...bus stop just outside gate if you don't have a car.'

'Nicos, Katrina, Alexandra, Maria looked after us with pleasure, smile and friendly conversations. The property is perfect for us , 2 adults and 14 yr old daughter. The beach and restaurants were within 5 to 10mins walk. Supermarkets locally and the marina also. Breakfasts were excellent, wholesome and leisurely. '
