It was awesome. It was just like the pictures. Pool area didn’t have the chlorine smell which was awesome. It was clean, comfortable, and safe. Room had everything you needed. I will be staying here every year I go to the Moore Expo in Springfield.

We booked this hotel for a Mother/Daughter getaway for my daughter’s birthday. We chose it bc the pictures made the pool area look so pretty and fun. We really wanted to like this hotel. Unfortunately our stay was not very enjoyable. The area around the hotel is overrun with homeless people I wouldn’t recommend being out past dark. We were required to pay extra for a room close to the pool. The hallway our room was down felt very unsafe. Dark, dirty and smelled heavily of marijuana. Our room was filthy stains and stray hairs everywhere. Bathroom was moldy and cramped. They had absolutely no extra pillows a hour after check in. No towels at the pool. The pool itself (our whole reason for choosing this hotel) was so dirty and cold. My poor daughter was so disappointed bc she wanted to swim so much but after just a little while her lips turned blue. We did complain but the manager seemed so overwhelmed and I’m guessing just completely forgot about us or ignored us I’m not sure which. We honestly should have left and asked for our money back. Definitely would not recommend staying here.

We had no issues with the cleanliness in our room. Our room was absolutely spotless along with the bathroom. The beds were super comfortable as compared to other hotels as we stay in hotels several times a year for various events and gatherings. We did have some issues at check in. Their computers evidentally crashed due to a large booking checking in ahead of us. Which is not really their fault. But we stood in line for about 15-20 minutes with a huge line of people waiting. It was State Wrestling Championships. The floor they booked us on had construction happening so it was just concrete and plywood flooring in the halls. Upon breakfast there were still 2 dirty tables from the night before. Food pieces and crumbs were all over the floor. Since breakfast had not even started it was clear someone from the night before hadnt done their job. Breakfast was a few minutes late- but fashionably late- because it was pretty good. Onsite Starbucks was a huge plus.

When I asked what was for breakfast, I was told there was one thing only to find out it wasn’t there which I was really looking forward to. The burger I ordered made me feel a tad bit sick. Staff was friendly and property clean.

The hotel was very nice and clean. However, we used the free airport shuttle for a 2 week vacation and they threatened to tow my car if I didn’t return home soon. All was fine, but it was some much added stress!

Everything was great. Only reason I subtracted 1 star was because the employees seemed bored and disconnected. Only 1 lady (named started with a J (Jannette maybe)) smiled repeatedly as she was stocking the breakfast. Everyone else seemed slow mo and bored. Beds, Pillows, rooms were very clean and comfy. Breakfast was good and the building looked well taken care. Loved the soaps and shampoos etc. Only suggestion I would make is to make sure the employees are happy at their jobs. Maybe they aren't paid enough???? to be happy or maybe they don't get enough encouragement??? For some reason they aren't enjoying their days there.

Late Checkout
The only thing wrong with our stay was that we paid the extra 25 dollars for a late checkout. Our late checkout was approved and we had to leave by 1pm. At 11am housekeeping trued to come in the room and the only thing stopping them was the lock at the top of the door. At this point i went back to sleep. Then at 11:45am the phone in the room rang and the front desk person asked us why we weren't checked out yet and that housekeeping needed in the room to clean. At this point we were frustrated and explained that we have a late checkout. The lady was nice and said she would take care of it.

A little dated but a decent hotel overall. My only complaint was the walls are too thin. In the middle of the night the neighbor across the hall was talking loudly into her cell phone and it was quite loud in our room. However, I called the front desk and they seemed to handle the situation

Our favorite hotel in Springfield MO. A lovely 50’s vibe. Nice restaurant on site. It was decorated for Christmas outside with lights everywhere. Just a little disappointed that the hot tub was removed.
