Great hotel with magnificent views
Beautiful an luxurious hotel. Well equipped and nicely decorated hotel room with everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Good breakfast with a view over the Old Course and town. Allergies were perfectly dealt with. Location of the Sands Grill could be better: no windows/outside view, which is a pity for such a marvelous hotel location. Be aware that the use of the spa pool has certain restrictions in time when no further spa treatment is booked.

The hotel has plenty of parking which is great the service from staff was excellent they couldn’t do enough for you there is so many different options for eating in the hotel with prices that are reasonable for where you are there was only one thing that I was angry about was there was a charity ball event on and we had to go up in the lift walk a while through the hotel take another lift down and then walk through the hotel again to get to our room I have heart problems and I would have preferred if we had been told about the charity ball being on and I would have booked for the week later

This was exactly what one would expect in a five star hotel....the rooms are handsomely appointed and supremely comfortable. The staff was amazing....helpful, informative and kind. We loved our stay, the town is walkable from the hotel and our room looked right out at the Old Course....and the North Sea beyond....simply magical.

Fantastic experience- highly recommend
We loved our stay. The room was clean and spacious and the turn down service was a lovely touch. The evening meal, Swilcan, was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection! The bed was huge and so comfortable. The spa was phenomenal- we loved the thermal suite. Again, the breakfast was also fantastic- wonderful variety and spectacular views. All the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!

This property didn’t disappoint. Historic hotel with great views of the most famous golf course in the world. Staff was amazing. Rooms where clean and well appointed. Spa was marvelous and the food was good (it’s British food). Walking distance to town and to golf. Gold concierge was super helpful. Highly recommend.

the hotel is excelent as is the staff. I think itis the best place to stay in St.Andrew.
